Pet care experience
From Kittens to Great Danes
I've been taking in stray cats/kittens since I was 12 years old and had a Great Dane for a "nanny" when I was a baby. From bottle feeding kittens, giving flea baths, skunk baths to dogs (Huskies particularly), brushing teeth, administering medication, pulling objects out of choking dogs/cats mouths, assisting a mama dog give birth, I am familiar with the fun and not so fun things with pet ownership. I love all animals but I have experience with cats, dogs, and hamsters. Although cat experience began when I was 12 years old, I have also owned Husky mixes and assisted with my dog birthing a litter of 10. Suffice it to say, I am very familiar with dogs with big personalities.

We really appreciate the level of attention and love Rosalie and Frank lavished on our senior doggo, Beanie. They watched her for a few days and she came back happy and spry. They provided great photos throughout her stay and were easy to stay in touch with.
Rosalie took amazing care of our dachshund with IVDD, who recently had back surgery and is on multiple medications. This was the first time we've left him with anyone other than close family since the surgery, so we were a little anxious, but Rosalie sent plenty of photos and updates while we were traveling, which kept us at ease. I was relieved to pick him up and see that he was happy, comfortable, and wasn't in pain (a good indication that he kept his medication down). Rosalie even sent him home with some gifts. I can't recommend Rosalie enough, and I'm actually excited for our next trip in just 1 month because we know Rosalie will be looking after our little guy!

Rosalie is the best dog sitter in San Francisco....she took our dog on hikes, lunch and tons of cuddles. The 5 nights Rosalalie watched our Luna demonstrated what a caring and professional dog care giver she truly is :)
rosalie was amazing with my cats gertrude and brother! usually when i return home from a trip they are anxious and dying for my attention - but due to the love and care from rosalie they were very calm and acted as if i hadn’t left! i will definitely book rosalie again and recommend her to others :)

Schedule
Currently, I am boarding dogs, but am also able to go to your home to feed and play with cat friends. I will give them all the love and affection, while you are away. I work both downtown San Francisco and at home partially; however, my partner, Frank, works exclusively at our apartment so someone is always available at home if you choose to board your dog friends with us.

Safety, trust & environment
I gain trust with cats and dogs pretty quickly because I let them come to me in their own time and am always gentle with them. Even the very shy ones find their way to me. My friend's dogs and cats are always excited to see me and I love meeting new friends to give affection to. I have close friends that are vets and vet techs that are only a phone call away, in case of an emergency.
A typical day
I can take your dog for a stroll around the block or on hikes on the weekends. Mori point in Pacifica, Presidio, and Hawk Hill in the Marin Headlands seems to be a favorite spot for pups I walk. Alta Plaza is only two blocks from my house. My huskies used to love Ocean beach and Fort Funston.

- If your dog or cat has any special needs or medication, I am comfortable administering meds. Although, my partner and I are comfortable going on 2-6 mile walks, if your dog friend has a distance or time limitation, please let me know because I do not want to over walk a dog. I understand diet restrictions, as I used to cook my previous dog’s food.
