Pet care experience

Dog-loving couple and their springer spaniel 👸🏻

My partner Scott grew up with dogs and I have been caring for family and friends dogs for over 5 years on overnight stays, walks and daycare, and now we have had our own for nearly 3 years since she was a puppy. With our springer spaniel Georgie, we have been through puppy training, Kennel Club training and more recently gundog training so able to cope with dogs of all ages and have knowledge on working breeds. Our springer spaniel absolutely loves to run and play with other dogs but also loves a good nap on the sofa so would be a good companion during the dog’s stay. We love going for walks, to coffee shops and to the pub with the dogs as part of our outings at the weekends as well as cosy nights at home on the sofa to meet as many of your dog’s needs as possible!

Fantastic service. Ros provided daily updates and pictures. I really felt like my dog was being cared for in the best way possible. Would highly recommend!

Hugo had the best time across his 5 night stay! I get super nervous about leaving Hugo but Ros was great and reassured me before and during Hugo’s stay. Hugo’s got an abundance of never ending energy & is 1000mph constantly & therefore can be quite challenging at times but Ros and her partner enabled him to still have the best time even with some boundaries in place. Thank you!

Benson, again loved his time with Ros. He has been completely wiped today, must have enjoyed his time running around with Georgie. Thanks again! Benson will be back 😊

Ros was brilliant and so calm with our lovely but very excitable six month old Labradoodle. I had confidence in Ros from the first time I met her, she is clearly an experienced dog owner and in looking after other dogs. I felt happy leaving our pup and she came back very happy having had a lovely day.

Benji had. 10-night stay with Ros & Scott and their dog Georgie. He’d had a couple of overnight trials, and he was ok. This was so much longer because I had to have spinal surgery. I needn’t have worried as Ros kept me updated with messages, photos and videos throughout. She even went above & beyond by bringing him home, as I’m still unable to drive. Highly recommended Thanks 🐾

Schedule

We both work full time on a hybrid basis, meaning there would always be someone home with the dogs - our dog has a garden to play in and lunchtime walks in the week. At the weekend and in evenings we go for walks and outings to ensure the dog has a good time.

Safety, trust & environment

We have a fully enclosed garden and plenty of inside space for the dog to play and snooze too. We can accommodate the dog to sleep anywhere overnight, as you wish with a crate, dog bed or wherever they are most comfortable. Our dog sleeps in the kitchen or living room but can be flexible for your dog’s needs.

A typical day

We will go on a couple of walks throughout the day and we often play lots of games at home to stimulate the dogs such as treat finding, basic training and playtime with toys. We love exploring coffee shops and pubs on our walks if your dog would be happy in these environments but are also happy to have fun in our garden and chilling in our house.
