A typical day
From playing and cuddling, indoors and out, we will spend quality time together. We’ll go on neighborhood walks and enjoy all the outdoor beauty and wonderful weather San Diego has to offer. House sitting includes all pet care required during hours booked i.e. walks, playtime, exercise, food and water refills, simple medication administration and basic home care such as bringing out trash and recycling, bringing in the mail, watering plants, etc.

Having grown up taking care of dogs, I have particular experience with senior and large dogs (pit mixes and labs to be specific). As such, I am equally comfortable relaxing with senior c(anine)itizens or letting a big dog stretch all four of their long legs to get a little energy out in the San Diego sun! For those so inclined, I’d be happy to offer hiking walks for high energy dogs. No matter who is under my care, I will be sending pics and updates along the way so you can relax knowing your loved one is in good hands.

Rory took good care of my dog and house and I would hire him again. He also faced some unexpected challenges upon arrival re: entry instructions, and was very gracious about handling that situation.
Rory was such an amazing sitter. My dog created an amazing bond with Rory and we are forever grateful that they did. Arya easily opened up to him and that shows how comforting he is as a Rover. Rory made sure Arya was cared for and always contacted us with any questions/concerns. Will definitely consider Rory again :)
Rory has been great! He was very attentive when given instructions and was great at communicating. We always have anxiety while traveling, but we immediately felt at ease. He gave us confidence that our boy was safe and cared for. Our instructions are pretty detailed and our boy is a little needy. Rory had no problem doing his best to follow them. We highly recommend him for walking and house sitting!
