I grew up with dogs (golden retrievers and a papillon) for 23 years, I love every dog I see, so dog care is definitely my thing. I am very accustomed to all types of dog behaviour, walking, feeding, giving medication, itchy paw care, and all other pet care associated with dogs. I'm a well seasoned dog caretaker and am very familiar with many types of challenges and hyper puppies.

Safety, trust & environment
The best way to make sure your pets feel safe, trusting, and comfortable is for me to continue on the daily routine they tend to follow. I'm very familiar with having to separate animals in different rooms, gates, stairs, feeding schedules and walking times. The best way I can give the utmost care for your companion is if you tell me exactly what you'd appreciate in terms of caretaking from me and I will make sure I do it exactly how you'd like in a way that is comfortable for you and you pet!

Rory responded to a last-minute request due to a different dog-sitter cancelling. He was responsive and polite and an absolute pleasure to deal with. I have 3 rescue dogs - a lot of work for even an experienced dog-lover. Not only did Rory take amazing care of my 3 pups with joy, he far exceeded my expectations, sending me daily pics of beach romps, walks, cuddles and play time. When I came home after 5 days away, the dogs we happy and well-cared for, the house was spotless and all bedding and towels has been cleaned. I could not be happier - Rory is sheer sunshine to me! I would 100% use Rory in future, and will happily recommend him to anyone else looking for a caring sitter for their beloved pet.
We cannot recommend Rory highly enough. Our senior cat, Duke, has a very intensive medication schedule that requires medication five times a day, making his care far more involved than a typical pet-sitting job. Despite this being Rory's first River client, he took the responsibility seriously and exceeded every expectation we had. Rory followed Duke's medication regimen perfectly, giving us complete peace of mind while we were away. The level of care, attention, and dedication he showed was remarkable. In fact, when we returned home, Duke looked happier, healthier, and honestly seemed years younger. It was clear that he had been incredibly well cared for and received lots of attention and affection. On top of the exceptional pet care, we came home to a spotless house. Everything was tidy, clean, and exactly as we had left it. Rory is reliable, compassionate, detail-oriented, and genuinely goes above and beyond. We would trust him with Duke again without hesitation and highly recommend him to anyone looking for someone who will care for their pets as if they were his own. Any pet owner would be lucky to have Rory looking after their furry family members.
I have had Rory look after my pets a few times - and he is fantastic! He lovingly cared for my dog Lhasa, and my 4 cats, and each time I returned home, I could tell the second I saw my animals that they had been very well cared for and loved. Rory is a special person - an animal whisperer in my opinion. He noticed an infection in one of my cat's ears long before I did. He's attentive and compassion towards the animals, and they know it, because they love him back. He's respectful, a great communicator, and leaves my place clean and peaceful. You can trust him fully to be responsible to you, your animals, and your home.
Rory is a kind, caring and considerate human being who genuinely loves animals and is also a great communicator (both with humans and animals). He really bonded with our cat and I'm sure Jinjaa was sad to see him go. Not only was our kitty well loved and cared for, our plants were thriving and our house was spotless when we returned. Rory is a reliable, safe and responsible pet and house sitter and I highly recommend him to look after your pet and home.

Schedule
I currently do not have a day job, so I am very able to be a hands-on caretaker to your pet. Walking, feeding, and attentiveness are my main priority.
