I have an incredibly flexible work schedule that will enable me to schedule my work hours around my hours caring for animals. I truly believe that animals are every bit as important as we are, and I think pet owners will be able to rest easy, leaving their pets in my care, knowing that their health and safety will be of the utmost importance to me!

I have a two-story condo that they would be able to spend most of their time in with me. I also have a heated garage that I’ve converted into a safe and comfortable area for animals to play in. In addition to that, I live in Woodbury, literally surrounded by parks, full of walking paths that will be ideal for a dogs exercise. One thing I would like pet owners to know is that I’m not doing this for the money, I’m doing this because I’m newly single and alone and can’t think of anybody better to spend my time with than animals in need. I wouldn’t just be some dog watcher, I would be their friend that plays with them and loves being with them.

It’s all about making an animal feel comfortable and safe, that’s where every sitter should start! Everything else will fall in line and work out if the animal feels good about his or hers environment.
A typical day
A typical day with your pet is filled with attention, comfort, and fun. I’ll start with a calm morning walk and potty break, followed by breakfast and playtime to help them feel relaxed and at home. Throughout the day I will make sure your dog gets the right balance of exercise, playtime, and rest, whether that means a long walk, backyard play, toys, or a cozy nap. I pay close attention to routines, energy levels and special needs, always offering reassurance, cuddles, and positive interaction. My goal is for your pet to feel safe, loved, and happy – just like they would with you.

Pet care experience
The two loves of my life were my dog, Abby, and my dog Bronx. Abby was a Siberian husky and Bronx a 15” lemon beagle. Bronx was part of my life for 20 years and just recently passed. I honestly can’t imagine a life without animals in it, and one day I wanna be able to reflect back on my life, knowing that I did as much as I could to help as many animals as possible, which is why becoming a part of ROVER is so appealing.

Rory’s love for animals was obvious the moment he entered my home for his first meet and greet with me and Henry. Rory has a delightful personality. He is respectful annd kind, and has a fantastic sense of humor. He did a great job looking after Henry for a couple days while I was out of town. I look forward to hiring him again in the future, and highly recommend him to anyone looking for a responsible pet/housesitter.
Rory was fantastic! He took great care of Oscar and his friend Rook while we were away, and it gave us so much peace of mind knowing they were in good hands. He was reliable, communicative, and clearly cared about making sure both dogs were comfortable and well looked after, including following medication instructions and accommodating their very different needs. We came home to a happy pup and a well-cared-for house. We wouldn't hesitate to have Rory watch him again and highly recommend him to anyone looking for a dependable, thoughtful pet sitter.
Rory took great care of the dogs, other pets and the house. He communicated quickly with any questions or concerns. I would highly recommend Rory.
We returned from an extended weekend to find our cat mellow and looking as if he wondered where that fun guy went? Rory was a terrific cat sitter during his 'house sit', and we will definitely book him again.
