I was raised in a home with anywhere from 1 to 3 dogs at a time - of all shapes and sizes. I’ve dog-sat in others’ homes as well as my own. I have also cared for all ages - from puppies all the way to senior dogs who need an extra care and attention. When I’m not outdoors, I love spending time quietly reading, drawing, or working on perfume. Sober ❤️ Our landlord does not allow any pets, hence I’m eager to care for dogs in whatever capacity I can! Whether with my own or others, I've always been a diligent and attentive caretaker. Your dog's safety is paramount.

Especially with more active dogs, I'm a very present caretaker. I’m watchful, attentive and playful. Whether sitting or just walks, I have no problem keeping up.

Rooney was an ideal house sitter, and delightful to work with. Their communication and attention to detail put us at ease, and the pets were given so much care and attention. 11/10.
We could not have had a better experience with Rooney!!!! They were instantly so warm and sweet with our pup and she was so happy to see them when we left on our trip. Rooney was super communicative and responsive & sent us the best updates while we were away. A million stars!
Rooney was too kind in helping us out last minute dog-sitting for our pup Benny and cat Eleanor. Benny came down with a GI issue right as we were about to head out of town and Rooney took the best care of him through the weekend, making sure he could get outside when needed through the night and sending updates while we were away. Plenty of love for our cat Eleanor as well. Would rebook Rooney again in a heartbeat!
This was my third consecutive experience with Rooney, and the first full day of housesitting. The dogs were super-excited to see them, we had great communication throughout the day and everyone was relaxed and in a good mood when I got home: 10 out of 5 Stars.
Rooney joined me and my neurotic dogs for a 60 minute meet-and-greet walk: the dogs and I warmed to them instantly. My two boys are scrappy rescues with rough beginnings and Rooney's calm presence was very reassuring - I don't have any hesitation handing over the reins. The experience was better than perfect: 10 out of 5 stars.
Rooney has walked our dogs, Gus, Ruby and Willey, hundreds of times over the years. He has cared for them when we have been away. Our dogs quickly recognize Rooney and start wagging their whole bodies and are excited to see him as their “human”!! They know they will be petted and pampered and loved when he’s around. They are always kept safe. Rooney is a super pet-friendly guy. We are so grateful for him!

Schedule
Since I work remotely, it’s easy for me to be available and flexible! My routine is easily adjusted to fit different pets’ needs. I’m usually early to bed and early to rise; most pups tend to love that! 😉
