Availability
Dogs in our care will have access to the yard (with supervision), living room, dining room, kitchen, and bedroom. The bathroom and second bedroom will be closed off. My partner loves dogs and between us we are able to be home most of the time. We bring dogs on two nice walks per day and plenty of bathroom breaks in the backyard. We feed dogs seperately to prevent any food aggression.

Information Ronnie B. would like to know about your pet
1. Please let me know if your pet requires any special care or needs such as medication, allergies, and limitations. 2. Your dog should be current on all vaccines and medication, as we board 2 different clients as well as our own dog at a time. Please include your current vet information, along with an emergency contact. 3. Please also provide me with information about their temperament. Dogs must be okay to be left alone for a few hours. We do not host dogs with separation anxiety. Their behavior can cause stress amongst the other dogs, disruption to neighbors, damage to property, and worst of all, self inflicted harm.
A typical day
Snuggle, playtime, and walks for dogs. Treats and rubs. There are a number of parks nearby that I love to bring our guests to. They are welcome on our futon which they can get super comfy on in the living room. We will be here enough to keep your pet very happy and entertained while you're away!

Pet care experience
I have pretty open availability. I am focusing on petsitting, dog walking, and boarding full time. I am available for catsitting and dog walking whether it's on a regular basis or just occasional. I love having boarders here and giving them cuddles and walks throughout the day. We have a backyard too where dogs can play or lounge and dogs happily lay all over our furniture if they like. I have many years of experience caring for all types of dogs and cats of all ages, sizes and breeds. I grew up with a family cat and have had cats my whole life. After walking dogs for several years in Seattle, I got my own dog, Ben, who lives with me now and who I adopted from someone giving him up in Oregon. I drove from Seattle to Salem, OR for him. I volunteered at the SPCA in order to train people with disabilities how to handle and walk dogs. My partner and I adopted Gummy Bear, the cat, from a shelter in Seattle when he was 6, and we all (including my doggy Ben) miss him since he crossed the rainbow bridge. I was studying in school to teach, and during that time I was also working part-time as a dog walker, sitter, and catsitter. Even as a little kid, my Dad worked at an animal park, where I got to spend a good part of my childhood interacting with all kinds of animals. I have so many fond memories and it grew my love for animals and the bonds humans and pets have! I have gotten to interact with many special animals each with their own quirks. I have walked a 16 year old border collie, a very small terrier, and walked a Great Dane and Alusky. I will always tailor activities to the pet's needs, I am down for a longer hike with an energetic dog but I also have plenty of patience for the slower pups. With cats I am great at reading their body language and will do whatever the cat wants. Cat wants to play? Let's do it! Cat just wants to cuddle on the couch? Great! Cat wants to be left alone? I will do my best to win them over with time! I follow any instructions you may have for windows and thermostats and I'll keep you posted if your home isn't a comfortable temperature. I am aware of flight risk and keep pets from slipping out the front door.
