I know pets are more comfortable being in their own home with familiar surroundings, sights and smells. I am respectful and mindful of your property and will treat your home as I would my own when providing drop-in visits, walks with your dog(s), as well as over night stays with your pet(s) in your home. When on walks I will provide as much energy as your dog needs, slow leisurely walk around the neighborhood or a run around the block. If you are near a hiking trail I would be happy to provide a hike with your dog(s) if that is ok with you. More details to be discussed at meet and greet or before service is provided.

I prefer to do a meet and greet to make sure you and your pet are comfortable with me before any bookings at no charge, of course. Any special needs, temperament, energy level, allergies, medications as well as social status, i.e. do they get along with other dogs if we were to encounter any on our walk? Are they reactive or protective about their home/car/on leash or fences?

If I am just dropping in to check on your pet for you while you are at work or out of town, I will provide food, water and potty breaks as necessary. As to be laid out at time of booking. If you have an enclosed yard for your dog I am happy to play fetch with them while I am there and if cat toys are provided I will be sure to get some of that feisty energy out with their favorite toy to attack. And of course loves and scritches all around for all pets. I will clean up any accidents I may see in the home once I get there. For longer out of town check-ins (if I am not staying over night) I can provide waste clean up and litter box clean up while I am there. For dog walks, dogs shall remain on their leashes the entire time. I WILL NOT take your dog to a dog park. Walks will be in and around your neighborhood, unless you provide permission and/or a recommended hike close to the area. During the hot season I will provide water for your dog(s) during our longer walks. During overnight stays with your pet(s) at your place, meals, water and potty breaks will be provided regularly. Depending on time of day a walk can be provided. Playtime and cuddles will be frequent. Medication administration will be provided if needed. I will clean up any waste or litter boxes as needed. Details to be discuss with you at time of booking as every pet has their own needs.

I grew up in a household full of cats, dogs, birds, reptiles and fish. My first pet as a wee one was a Tarantula name Suzie. Since moving to Whidbey Island 11 years ago I have worked professionally to care for animals on a number of levels from Dog Runner to Veterinarian Technician. Though I don't have any fur-babies currently, my husband and I heartbreakingly lost our two beloved fur-kids to cancer since moving here - a Husky mix and a Pitbull mix, I still find joy in caring for others' pets. From cuddles & cookies (if diet allows) to exercise & basic training (if warranted and wanted) I am here for you and your beloved pet. I can also administer medications if needed.

Ronni is the absolute best! She is one of the very few people I trust to care for my pets. I know when they are with her they are treated like family and get the very best care. She is not only extremely knowledgeable, with several years in the animal care industry, but she has a fantastic energy and great compassion for all animals big and small. Highly recommend!! <3
