It is currently my only method of income, so I have a lot of availability in terms of schedule. This means that unless I have other jobs lined-up or a holiday for example, I will be completely free to care for your pet.

In the pet's home I would be with the pet for as long as they needed, whether that meant constantly or only a little bit throughout the day. I also have experience of addressing health needs, and so would be very vigilant with that if needed. Overall I am always contented to be around pets, so would give them one hundred percent of my attention one hundred percent of the time.

How your dog is with other dogs is very important; how they socialise with other dogs, and whether they scare easily of bigger dogs. Whether they are able to go off-leash or not, and whether in certain places this is appropriate or not. Also how good their recall is, so I'd know how far to let them get away from me if we're walking off-leash. Additionally, I'd like to know what their dogs typically enjoy the most so I can ensure their needs are met.

We would play inside when not going for walks, but when we do, I like to have as much fun as possible with the dogs; we'd play fetch, socialise with other dogs (when appropriate) and make sure they were as stimulated as doggily possible.

My brother's German Shepherd, Finn, I have looked after recently for six days while he had an eye infection. Finn is also a rescue with an anxiety condition and so needed medication administered. I also have experience with puppies as well. I feel therefore with my experience and calm demeanour I am a good pet-sitter. It also brings me great joy and contentment to be around pets.

Our dog Tink had a great time with Ronan! He was reliable and kept in touch with us about any issues. He also was very amenable to two separate meets with Tink before our trip so they could get familiar with each other as Tink can be a bit picky about his humans! Ronan was great with him and they became friends very quickly.
Ronan looked after my German shepard for 5 days whilst on holiday. He kept us up to date with how Finn was doing, times he was walked at, his demeanour etc. Ronan also made sure that Finn kept to his daily routine which included taking medication. Finn seemed to really take to Ronan in the videos he sent us, listening to recall and using the commands we gave him. All in all, made my holiday a bit more stress free.
