Big Back Yard, Home FT

Hi Friends, It is Ron T.!! My wife and I love dogs!!! A stay at our home includes lots of fun, love, play time, and attention. We have 2 dogs of our own (a 4 year old terrier named Storm and 3 year old mastiff mix named Zion). If we are not playing in the yard we are taking walks in our neighborhood. Our dogs are our family and we will treat your's like family too!! We would love the chance to watch your baby!! We are always open for a meet and greet, especially for the dogs to say hi. We ask that you be honest about your dogs behaviors, We do want to keep your baby and our family safe so, please make sure to let me know if your baby likes to chew on things. We have a gated back yard with plenty of room and we want to open our home up to your baby. Look Forward to talking to you soon!!

I love sending my dog Boss to Ronald. Boss cannot wait to visit and meet other little dogs like him. I go on long trips and have never had to worry if he is well taken care of. I’ve been going to Ronald since Boss was a puppy and he is now five years old. That’s his second home. I truly appreciate the love and care you give my baby. You are the only one I trust with boss. He will see you soon ❤️🙏🏽

THINGS I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW ABOUT YOUR DOG •Are they fixed? If not, do they show any dominant behaviors toward either/both, male or female dogs? •Any problem behaviors or preferences when meeting new dogs? •Do they have a dog preference? Energetic dogs or calm dogs? •What is their play style? Chasers, wrestlers, tuggers? •Do they give “corrections”? Occasionally or frequently? If so are there any specific instances you can recall. •Are they friendly with people? Or do they have a preference? •Do they have separation anxiety? If yes, how often and when do they exhibit said separation anxiety? For dogs from the same home, do they have separation anxiety when separated? •Are they aggressive towards dogs based on size? Male or female dogs? •Are they escape artists? •Are they territorial over food, treats, toys, people? •Anything that scares them, makes them anxious, or uncomfortable? • Are there any health conditions I should be aware of (such as arthritis, allergies, injuries with long-lasting effects, etc.)? • Do they take any medications? If yes, what is their medication schedule? Are there any negative side effects to be on the lookout for? • Is your dog microchipped? • Are their vaccines and flea preventatives up to date? • Are the care instructions provided on Rover.com up to date? • Who is your preferred vet? For dogs with constant health issues (ex. epilepsy, heart murmurs etc.) who is your emergency vet? • Who should be contacted in an emergency if you cannot be reached? DOG WALKING •Are they reactive to dogs, skateboards, bicycles or people? •Are they sensitive to loud noises? •Any leash aggression? •Any other behaviors, reactivity, I should be aware of before walking your dog(s)? •If you have preferences on their walking - in heel, right side vs left side, loose leash - please let me know before the walk. •Where they are permitted or prohibited to go potty? (I know some owners prefer their dogs to not go potty on the front patios or front yard of their apartments) INTACT DOGS • I do not host any females while in heat. • If your intact male dog has dominant but not aggressive behaviors please provide thorough information of instances where he was dominant so I can be prepared and know what to watch out for. • If your intact male dog does in fact have dominant AND aggressive behavior towards another intact dog, they will not be hosted if I have another intact male dog present. • If your intact female dog has dominant but not aggressive behaviors please provide thorough information of instances where she was dominant so I can be prepared and know what to watch out for. •If your intact female dog has dominant AND aggressive behavior towards an intact female dog, they will not be hosted while I have another intact female dog present. It’s rare for this to occur with intact females but can still be a possibility mostly when they near their “heat” cycles.
