Upper West Side near Central Park
My top priorities are your dog's security, health and happiness. I live in a duplex apartment (see last few pics) in a well-maintained brownstone in the historic and safe Upper West Side in Manhattan (West 70s), one short block from Central Park. Clean, comfortable, secure. Air-conditioned for the warm months. I only look after one dog at a time (unless two or more are from the same family) and do not have a pet of my own so no "compatibility" issues. I am home most of the day and my dog guests are never left alone for long. They are normally walked four times per day (a minimum of three times), including at least one long walk of 1/2 hour or longer in Central Park. The dog run at the Planetarium is very nearby and, upon request, can be utilized as well. I have almost ten years of professional pet-sitting experience with an agency and now prefer to do this more or less on my own. I take meticulous care of my dog guests, never leaving them "tied-up" outside a store while I shop, for example--a big no-no with me. Totally trustworthy and reliable. Frequent updates and photos and the occasional mini-video are sent to assure my dogs' owners that all is well. My rate is a little higher than others, but it's because I feel I take that extra little bit of care. I am an avid animal lover and the sentiment is usually returned! Incredible stay with Ron as always! I was delayed getting back to NYC due to the winter storm and Ron was incredibly flexible in extending the stay. He took great care of my German shepherd, Bear, and I knew he was in good hands during the storm.
Miss Murphy loved her stay with Ron! Ron was very thoughtful in his pre-boarding questions and wanted to ensure he knew every and anything needed for Murph during her stay. Throughout her stay, Ron provided daily updates and photos, as well as any questions that came up. He was always quick to respond. I would recommended Ron for anyone looking for a reliable and fantastic dog sitter!!
My dog Buddy, is an adorable 13 pound toy poodle. After a long weekend boarding with Ron, Buddy seemed healthy, content, well cared for and very nicely bonded with Ron. I will be making future appointments between Ron and Buddy again.

Schedule
I am home most of the time so plenty of time to spend with your pups, except for occasional shopping or excursions to the gym.

Safety, trust & environment
Your dog's safety and comfort are my top priorities. I live on the ground floor of a well-maintained brownstone so no stairs to worry about. I never leave them tied up outside while I'm shopping. I make sure my apartment is clean and tidy for them, as well as maintaining a comfortable ambient temperature and lighting.
A typical day
I try to make sure my pups are engaged with some playtime or at the least avid attention throughout the day. Central Park is right nearby for long walks, as well as a dog run at the Planetarium if they are allowed to use it from their owners.
