Information Romilly C. would like to know about your pet

I’m very flexible with breeds of dog! I have spent a lot of time with smaller dogs like Maltese, shitzus and puppies so have a lot of experience with them but i have a real soft spot for border collies, Bernese’s mountain dogs and Labradors/ retrievers. I am confident in looking after most breeds just let me know well in advance if your dog is a nervous/anxious dog especially with people and other animals. I cannot look after loud dogs.

A typical day

I usually wake up fairly early in the morning ( around 6-7am ) because the early mornings my favourite time in the day especially for walking! So typically I would go out for a 30 minute to 1 hour walk and then come back for some food and rehydration to then go about some morning household chores. The rest of the afternoon would vary dependent on the weather and the type of dog I’m with! If I’m with a highly energetic dog then I’d go on another long walk probably towards the sea and with a less active dog I’d have some at home interactions keeping them stimulated with another small walk in the afternoon to be back for tea time and some evening rest in front of a tv where I’ll generally do some crochet or admin work.

Pet care experience

I’ve looked after and cared for a variety of dog and cats breeds/ temperaments over the last 11 years alongside also working at a horse riding stables from the age of 12 on and off. I love walking and love walking with dogs even more! I have recently moved out of my parents house to my own flat with a small enclosed patio outside alongside a patch of grass in my garden. I currently have no other pets and am looking for some company as I miss my two cats and dog dearly. I have my own car but have not received my driving licence as of yet. With my mum as a passenger I am able to provide pick up and drop off services as well as gain access to beach walks and go further into the countryside. I have a 20 min walk to the beach and a woodland area across the road from me so plenty of areas, which I know well from walking my own dog around these parts.

Romilly was great with Bertie, he had an action packed day with her and didn’t want to leave. Wished she lived nearby (we are on holiday) as would definitely use her again, thoroughly recommend.

Shadow had a lovely time with Romilly. He took a little longer to adjust to the different surroundings but all in all, very good. For me, it was a nice stress free weekend. I was only contacted when needed which was great. I will definitely be contacting Romilly again soon.
