Ex-beagle owner, great with dogs!
I grew up with a collie in the family home, training it from a puppy. I also owned a beagle called Roo and trained her from a puppy, and she lived in this apartment in Amsterdam (2nd floor, no lift). So I have a lot of experience with dog training and behaviour, particularly with demanding breeds. Since I lost my beagle I've missed the presence of dogs in my home so I'm looking forward to having this energy back in my life.

Roman was a lovely sitter! He made us feel really comfortable throughout our first rover experience. He’s knowledgable with dogs and seemed to understand and adapt well to Polos behaviors as he is still younger and in his teenage years. Would definitely love to have Roman watch polo again! Thanks.

Roman is an incredibly responsible and loving pet caregiver. He grew up around animals, has had multiple pets over the years and has pet-sat countless times. He gives every animal genuine care, patience and affection. Any pet would be lucky to stay with him!

Schedule
I work mostly from home and have a flexible schedule, my girlfriend who is also very good with dogs works full time from home when she's not travelling for work. So during the week there will always be someone home. If I'm dog sitting I will work full time from home. This means plenty of time for walks and cuddles.

Safety, trust & environment
I give the dog freedom to roam the entire apartment. I no longer own a crate so if crating is needed one will need to be provided. I give regular walks and toilet breaks and I'm very intune with the dogs behaviour and needs.
A typical day
At least 1 big walk per day, with a few shorter walks throughout the day, playing during the day in the apartment and lots of naps, cuddles and snacks. I live next to a park with lots of dogs so if the dog is socialised well and enjoys doggy company they'll get plenty of that!

- Let me know if your dog needs anything in particular or has certain behaviour traits I need to be aware of. My preference is for relaxed dogs that do not chew furniture, can be left alone for a few hours if needed and are house trained, although if it's a puppy then this is of course not guaranteed.
