Attentive, Experienced Dog Sitter
I've looked after dogs for over 25 years, raising my own small pack of Rhodesian Ridgebacks from pup to memorialized gone but not forgotten family. I have a wealth of experience raising and training 3 Rhodesian Ridgebacks, a large (40kg - 50kg) confident breed of hound. This experience included raising and training puppies, addressing various accidental injuries that occurred during their lifetime, and senior care prior to their leaving. Recently I was living with 2 mixed breed dogs 8 and 5 years old, both over 25kg. I am allergic to cat dander and therefore will not accept any dog sitting or walking opportunities where a cat is also on the premises.

I'm unable to have pets at my current accommodations, so I would look after pets as a house sitter, respecting and following any pet owner care requirements the pet parent has. I was a career project manager in 2 fast paced industries, so following instructions and schedules, with attention to detail, is in my nature both personally and professionally.
Ratings and reviews
Roland was great with our dogs and made them comfortable and at ease in our absence. The dogs were well exercised, and he made sure they got their walks—even in the rain. We came home to calm, happy, well-cared-for pups, and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Roland or book him again.
Roland was great with my pup! He has great large breed experience and took the time to get to know my dog's personality and needs. We got daily updates and pictures. When I got home my dog was happy and tired from all of the walks and playing, we would definitely book with Roland again and recommend him to others!
Roland was amazing with my dog, Percy! Right from the start, it was clear he’s super experienced and confident with dogs—Percy took to him immediately. Roland has such a calm and reassuring presence, and he was really consistent with Percy’s routine, which made a big difference. I felt totally at ease knowing Percy was in such good hands. I came back to him happy, relaxed, and clearly well cared for. I wouldn’t hesitate to ask Roland again—he’s a total pro and just really great with animals.

Schedule
I'm newly retired and my own dogs are gone. I was living with 2 mixed breed dogs recently and would like to be around dogs more often, helping them maintain a high quality of life. I have the time to travel and look after other's pets and would enjoy being a care giver for animals, providing pet parents reassuring care for their pets.
