Hi! My name is Roisin and I have unwittingly become the go-to dogsitter for family and friends alike. I have watched a variety of dogs — very large ones who need lots of exercise, dogs with nervous stomachs, and 4-month old puppies who needed frequent potty trips in the middle of the night. While housesitting, I make a strong effort to maintain your pet’s routine — including feeding, treats (or lack thereof), walks, medication, and time playing.

I think it’s super important for dogs to be played with and given TLC while their families are away. It’s one thing to refill water bowls and take a dog for a walk, and an entirely other thing to make the dog feel at ease and loved. I make it a priority to spend time playing fetch or simply cuddling so you can rest knowing your dog is happy! When housesitting, I make it a goal to keep your house as you would like it! I tidy daily and will strip beds and do a deep clean of the areas I used prior to your arrical home.

Roisin took care of our dog, Ollie, for two weeks and did an amazing job. When Ollie met Roisin, he took to her immediately. Ollie is a very excitable dog, but her calm presence made him feel quickly at ease. While we were away, Roisin gave us frequent updates. Her communication reassured us that Ollie was in excellent hands. When we returned him it was as if we never left. Roisin is responsible and a dog lover. The perfect combination!
I truly can’t recommend Roisin enough! She is responsible, reliable, always on time, and incredibly trustworthy... She offers very reasonable rates and always makes sure to walk my dog for the full amount of time requested, which I truly appreciate as my dog is very active. It gives me great peace of mind knowing my dog is in such good hands when I give her a call. If you’re looking for someone dependable, caring, and professional to walk your dog, she is absolutely wonderful! For reference, I have a 100+ lb Weimaraner and she handles him with absolute ease.
Roisin is an extremely thoughtful pet sitter. She was so helpful with my two senior dogs, administering medication with care and following all of their quirky routines. It is clear that Roisin understands a dog owner’s anxiety when leaving their pet. She made my family’s vacation seamless and easy. She even gave them their weird “slop” food, as I fondly call it, and made sure my anxious pup finished all of her food despite her unique needs. Thank you, Roisin!
I highly recommend Roisin for anyone looking for a trustworthy, loving, and reliable pet sitter! She watched my dogs, River and Ellie, and took such great care of them. She made sure they were happy, comfortable, and well cared for, and I knew they were in great hands the entire time. She truly loves animals and treats every pet like her own. Roisin is great with pets. She is both responsible and compassionate, which has worked out great for her when she’s pet-sit in the past. Roisin is also incredibly patient, she was great with my two yorkies!

Schedule
I am a full-time teacher, so most of my care is best scheduled for afternoons and evenings. On the weekends, I am much more able to keep my schedule open but altogether, I try to be flexible!
