I am a graduate student, so my schedule is pretty flexible. I typically stay in Ann Arbor over the holidays, so I have a lot more flexibility over the winter break.

I can take care of small dogs in my home, but cannot take care of cats (unfortunately, my landlord has a cat allergy). I have a preference for taking care of pets in the client’s home. While pet sitting, I can spend the night in the client’s home, or I can remain in my own home and travel back and forth between my home and the client’s for walks/meals etc.

If your cat/dog is particularly sensitive to new people, I would appreciate some advance notice so that I can drop by to meet them beforehand while their owner is around.
A typical day
Despite my occupation, I am quite physically active (🤣) and enjoy going on long walks with dogs (or just short ones for the older ones)! I will also play with them indoors using whatever toys they like.

Pet care experience
I am a graduate student who adores cats and dogs! I got my first dog at 18 (a King Charles named Rosie) and raising her was a transformative experience :-) I genuinely enjoy all aspects of pet care, and pet sitting has been a great way for me to disconnect from school work for a bit. I have experience taking care of animals big and small, and meeting and caring for each one has been an absolute joy :-) At present, I do not have any pets so yours will have my full, undivided attention 😍

Roisin was amazing. My pup seemed very happy. She was a great communicator. She took great care of my house and did all the things that I asked her to. She even cleaned and washed her sheets and towel towels! And, she was very communicative and gave me cute little pics of my boy along the way. I couldn’t recommend her more!
Roisin is outstanding! She stayed at our house and watched our two dogs for almost a week. She took great care of the dogs AND the house. The dogs were happy and calm when we got home and she went out of her way to launder the bed linens and make the bed she stayed in again! She’s communicative, caring and reliable. We will definitely be hiring her again in the near future if we have need for dog sitting or walking. Highly recommend!!
