I started out taking care of friends pets along with people who were referred to me by them. Now after almost 5 years of doing Rover I still find that I love walking and playtime with dogs.

Roger was an amazing host for our dog, Bear. She is not an easy pup at the age of 16, but it is clear when I picked her up that she received the best care and lot of attention. He is the top of our list for future Rover needs.
My dog's first stay (3 days) with Roger went well. He was easy to connect with and responsive to my questions, etc. He sent a daily update photo. He has a good system of gates to keep dog separated in his house, when that is needed. And a good sized yard for the dogs to play around in and so on. My dogs will be doing a longer stay with him, later on this week.
We love Roger taking care of Dixie!! When your furry baby is older and a little on the nervous side, and you see her get excited when she gets to his house, it’s a great feeling!! I’ve always been able to enjoy time away, knowing she’s in good hands!!
Roger is an amazing pet sitter. Our pups had a great time! We got daily updates and pictures. Thank you so much for watching our furr babies.

I am retired public relations manager which means I can adapt to any given situation. I have a part time photography business which allows a lot of flexibility.

I have fenced in yard (6 foot) and a very friendly dog who enjoys the company. Pets are allowed to roam free unless owner wants them kenneled (I have kennels - small and large - no need to bring).

A typical day
Go to any local dog parks if permitted. Neighorhood parks which are familiar to pet. Can walk neigbhorhood around home area. Will go where pet owner wishes me to go.
