Long time fosterer for 10 years
I've fostered of all kinds and ages of dogs and cats for around 7 years, during which I had my own cat and monkey for around 3 years (yes I said monkey). After that I stopped fostering due to living arrangements and I had another cat for 2 years and then lived with 3 cats for another 2 years. I also worked as a dog walker for several months with Red Leash. Needless to say I'm more than comfortable in taking doggos on walks, showering and grooming them and cats, as well showing them lots of love that they deserve. I even keep a bag of cat food with me in my car to feed any cats I see on the street!

Well, what is there to say about the best sitter ever? Honestly, I was really nervous leaving my dog with someone new, between his breed and his stubborn ways, I'm very cautious about leaving him with a stranger but from the minute we met Roger, his calm demeanor, the way he handled my boy and the questions he asked made me feel ao comfortable. Not only did he update me daily with pics and even videos, he put up with my crazy lol and worked with my boy on his habits and Mouch came home a better dog for it. He's been so well behaved! Even saying the name Roger gets Mouch's attention and I see the excitement in his eyes. We will definitely be calling Roger again, he's quite literally THE BEST!!!!!! Thank you Roger!!!!!!!
Roger is an amazing sitter! I got daily updates while on vacation. He was also very responsive and flexible. Toby is a nervous & unique dog, but I was happy to see how quickly he got comfortable with Roger. He is a true animal person for sure! I will definitely use his services again and highly recommend to anyone looking for a sitter! 😊
Roger is absolutely amazing sitter. He is the most diligent and organized sitter I have met. He took down detailed notes and did a questionnaire before boarding. During their stay, he is super communicative and considerate to cater my pet’s special needs. He updates me daily for their well beings and send funny photos. Roger is the most careful and considerate sitter I have ever met and both my dog and cat seems to have a great time under his care. Will definitely have him sit my pets again,

From the moment I met him, I knew Pepper would be well taken care of. He has a gentle demeanor that instantly puts both pets and owners at ease. During our time apart, Roger kept me updated with detailed messages, sharing exactly how Pepper was doing and even sending some cute pics of their adventures together. It was truly heartwarming to see how engaged and attentive he was with her. The calm and caring environment Roger creates is exactly what every pet parent hopes for. Roger isn't your average sitter as his wealth of experience with dogs allowed him to handle our German Shepherd's incredibly high energy and work drive with ease. He is very attentive and understands how to care for a dog's needs in order to keep them happy. Throughout the stay, he would regularly send us pictures, videos and updates of Illidan in various activities. I would highly recommend Roger for anyone with a cat or dog out there that is in need of a great sitter.
Roger has been an amazing pet sitter for Tartine. He was very attentive to her needs, caring and patient. He was also very responsive, accommodating and flexible with me. He sent updates daily and tartine always looked like she was having a great time. He's one of the best pet sitters I've found on Rover! I will definitely use his services again, thank you Roger :)

Schedule
I work from home so you can rest assured that I'll be at home for most of the day. I also move all my appointments whenever I know I'll be boarding a dog to make sure that I'm home as much as possible. I'm an active person as well so I can take on all kinds of energy levels, which means plenty of walks also. I even free up my schedule during weekends when looking after a dog, so I will always be at home so your fluff ball is never alone!

I'm very comfortable with all kinds and sizes of dogs. I'm an active person so I can keep up with all sorts of energy levels, which also means plenty of walks. I live very close to my parents (5 minutes away) who also adore dogs just as much, which means that if I ever have to not be home, one of them can come over to look after your loved one until I'm back. My apartment is spacious so there's plenty of room for your dog to move around, and my neighborhood is nice for long walks as well!
A typical day
I'm a pretty active person who enjoys long daily walks in which your beloved fluff ball will be joining me. I include jogging in my walks as well so you can rest assured your dog will get sufficient daily exercise. I also love playing with dogs throughout the day with a variety of toys that will also help simulate them mentally, meaning your dog will also be exercising throughout the day.
