My name is Rod, I am retired and ready to give your cat or dog the special attention and loving care every pet deserves. I currently own a 11 year old Husky and previously a 16 year old husky cross, I have also been an owner of several cats and always have been an advocate for the well being of both, growing up and present. I am a proud grampa of my daughters rescue mix breed dog and I understand the challenges and needs of dogs and cats that haven't have had a great start in life, I take pride in showing them that they have friends in humans from this point on in life. I know the importance of proper feeding, water, playtime, walks and the special snuggles and pats. I am experienced in administering medication if needed and transporting pets to scheduled appointments , play dates of course scooping #2 on walks or at home.

Rod has a great love for both cats and dogs! He spends alot of time wih his own dog ...biking and walking her, taking her for truck rides, playing with her and just hanging out with her. Any dog he meets seems to bond with him quickly....they seem to sense his confidence and comfort around them.. I have seen him even hold cats that wont let anyone else come near them. I guess you could say he just is a natural !!! I know he would be an excellent caregiver for your pet! .
Our dog Luna absolutely adores her time with Rod. She is a rescue and is afraid of many people. However, when she sees him she cannot contain her excitement and wants to jump into his arms! He is so kind to her and truly loves all animals. From the walks, to playtime, to cuddles, I know she is in great hands. I can't think of anyone else I trust more with our precious girl!
Rod has been a dog lover all his life. I have known Rod for over 35 years and he has always had a dog in his life. He now has a Husky which he takes great pride in and spends a lot of time walking and playing. He would be a great person to care for your dog.
