Animals are our friends and family
I have been an animal lover since the day I was born, my first pet was a german shepherd bloodhound mix named Rebel who went every where with me. He was my friend and protector for most of my young life. After having that dog as my own I came to understand that dogs are a real part of family life. I have always had dogs and cats and other critters in my life. I guess I can say i am partial to big dogs, but I love them all. I do not have a pet right now as our last dog (Rokky) who was with us for ten years got sick and had to be put down. I am excited to make some new animal friends if others will share their animals with me. Please keep in mind that we watch multiple dogs from multiple homes. We have been doing this for a long time and have only had one incident where the owner did not listen and let their dog loose prematurely. If you feel like your dog needs to be the only dog then we might not be the best fit for your needs.

He was incredible. He watched our three dogs and sent plenty of photos! My one dog has really important medicine he has to take and he did an amazing job! Thank you! Will def be back!
We highly recommend Rod. He and his wife were wonderful with our three dogs. We got pictures of them and Rod was in touch with us throughout the day, We also got a picture of our Chiweenie watching tv with him. We highly recommend Rod and we will definitely take our dogs back. Thank you Rd and Renee for loving our dogs.
My 2 large hunting dogs loved their Vacation with Rod! They stayed with him for a week in his home with a large fenced backyard. He sent us pictures of them being cute and relaxing on his comfy couch.
Rod was great. He and Cosmo became good friends quickly. When we picked Cosmo up it was apparent that he had made a new friend.
Gracie and Jarvis seemed to enjoy their stay. Rod kept us up to date with photos and was flexible on pick up and drop off times.
For the first time in years I was able to enjoy my vacation because I did not have to worry about my pups. Rod was so kind and caring to my two girls. One of my pups is a rescue and afraid of men. When I originally brought them for a meet and greet Rod immediately bonded with her. This is the first time in 7 years that I have seen my sweet girl trust a man besides my husband. I knew at that moment that he would be perfect! During our trip he updated me with pictures and text letting me know how they were doing. I can not begin to tell you how thankful I am that I found him on Rover. We will be booking with him again soon!

I am retired and have plenty of time to love on your fur babies. We have some toys but feel free to bring a favorite.

We have a fenced yard and practice open range allowing dogs on the couch and bed. We can also crate your puppy if they prefer.

I like being outside working in the yard and tool shed. But Snuggling up to watch old movies is my all time favorite thing to do.
