Whether it’s going on long walks, playing, or simply keeping them company, I can easily adapt to your dog’s routine and needs. I'm fully available during the day and on weekends, so your pup will always have someone attentive and loving around.

I live just a short walk from Tompkins Square Park — a favorite spot for many dogs! Whether your dog enjoys socializing and playing with others or prefers peaceful walks, I adapt to their personality and energy level. For more active dogs, I make sure they get plenty of exercise and stimulation with playtime in the dog run. For those who are more reserved, I take them on calm, enriching walks around the park and quieter streets. In both my home and my clients’ homes, I create a calm, clean, and safe environment. I follow your dog's routine as closely as possible — from feeding and potty breaks to cuddle time and sleep schedules — and I always pay attention to their behavior and mood to make sure they’re comfortable and happy.

Please let me know if your dog has any special needs, routines, or behaviors I should be aware of — I want to make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and happy. I do live in an apartment building with close neighbors, so I appreciate a heads-up if your dog tends to bark a lot, just so I can plan accordingly and make the experience smooth for everyone. Communication is key, and I'm happy to work with you to ensure the best care possible for your pup!
A typical day
I love taking dogs to the park so they can run, play, and socialize with other pups — it's a great way for them to burn energy and have fun! Tompkins Square Dog Run is one of our favorite spots. When the weather isn’t great, I usually take them to dog-friendly places like Boris & Horton, where they can still enjoy a change of scenery and some cozy indoor time. Whether it’s playing fetch, exploring new smells on a walk, or just relaxing together, I make sure each dog has a fun and fulfilling day based on their personality and preferences.

Dogs have always been part of my life. When I was a child, my family adopted a Belgian Shepherd who quickly became a beloved member of our household. Growing up with her sparked a deep, lifelong love for dogs. I genuinely enjoy their company and feel a natural connection with them — spending time with dogs is always the highlight of my day! I treat every dog as if they were part of my own family, giving them love, attention, and lots of conversation (yes, I talk to them too!). While I don’t currently have a dog of my own due to frequent travel, I always look forward to being in NYC because it gives me the chance to be around dogs again — and I’m seriously considering adopting in the future. Over the past few years, I’ve cared for a friend’s dog regularly, even taking them on weekend trips. It was such a joyful experience that I began looking after more friends' dogs. It has now become a true passion for me. I would be honored to care for your dog and make sure they feel loved, safe, and happy while you're away.

Charlie was in such great hands with Rocío while I was on a weeklong trip. Charlie is from a rescue background and has intense separation anxiety, to the point where he pretty much needs to be next to a human at all times. Rocio was so understanding and accommodating of this, and she sent me regular updates to soothe MY anxiety about being away from my boy! She asked conscientious questions all the way through Charlie's stay. By day three, it was clear he was feeling settled in with Rocío and her husband. Thank you so much!
Rocio took great care of our rescue Shiba Inu and dealt with all of his quirks and daily medicine administration. I highly recommend her as a sitter!
I am so grateful I decided to have Rocio watch my dog. She was so communicative and clearly prioritized making my dog happy and comfortable. I am very attached to my dog and generally worry about her when I’m not with her, but with Rocio I had not an ounce of concern or anxiety.
