Availability
I am currently working full time as a degree apprentice, however I work from home 1-2 days of the week. On working from home days I am happy to do local drop-ins during my lunch hour. I’m also available to do drop-ins/walks after work every day of the week, and weekends.

Safety, trust & environment
I always make sure pets are safe, supervised, and comfortable in my care. My home has a long garden that’s great for playtime and will be fully secured before hosting any dogs. Inside, pets have plenty of space to relax and I keep their environment calm and clean. When caring for pets in their own home, I follow each owner’s routine closely and make sure doors, gates, and leashes are checked for safety every time.
Information Rochelle H. would like to know about your pet
I like to know as much as possible about each pet before sitting or walking them (their daily routine, energy levels, and any commands or training cues they’re used to). It’s also really helpful to know about any anxieties, medical needs, allergies, or triggers around other dogs or people. The more I know ahead of time, the more comfortable and happy I can help them feel!

Pet care experience
I’ve been around dogs my whole life and can’t imagine life without them! I grew up with an amazing family rescue dog from the age of 10, who I cared for until he passed away just 11 months ago. Since then, I’ve had the joy of dog sitting two pups (a small Cavapoo and a large Weimaraner–Vizsla mix) starting when they were 8 and 5 months old. Over the past 9 months, I’ve helped both of them grow into well-mannered, happy dogs. I’ve focused especially on training with the Cavapoo due to having her more regularly, teaching her fun tricks along with key commands like “leave it,” “wait,” and some recall. I’ve also learned to be patient, consistent, and calm with boisterous, high energy puppies, making sure they get plenty of play, attention, and gentle guidance. Whether it’s a small lap dog or a big energetic breed, I love getting to know each pup’s unique personality and making sure they feel safe, happy, and loved while their owners are away.
Reviews
Dogs are a huge part of Rochelle’s life, which is apparent in her behaviour towards them. She is incredibly enthusiastic to spend time with and care for them, whenever possible! She currently dog-sits for 2 different owners and is keen to get to know many more furry friends.
