SCHEDULE I am blessed that I work from home in the tv/film/influencer industry, but can frequently be on zoom calls. I make my own schedule and don't go out much, except the occasional dinner or errand. We live on a property with two in-law homes attached. Depending on your dates, we may have my parents, daughter or best friend staying in one of the units. They are all dog sitters as well.

Safety, trust & environment
TRUST I try not to leave the house for longer than 30 minutes when I have pups in my care, and I will ALWAYS let you know if I am doing that, why I'm doing it and the arrangements for your pup while I am gone. If something major requires my attention, all my back up help is connected to the dog industry - groomer, trainer, sitter, etc. SAFETY My father used to train our Dobies in English, ASL and German. He did scent tracking and security training. I can help break poor habits like leash tugging or counter surfing. I use cameras for observation if I step out the room (showers, cooking, answering the door). ENVIRONMENT I use a dry erase board to note pup's food schedule, medications & allergies. I use Google to set alarms to ensure we don’t miss meds or walks or anything else you’ve asked of me. I have ramps for aging little dogs to get up and down on the couch. Your pets will have complete freedom to sit on furniture and hang out with me unless you have restrictions or prefer otherwise. I do not crate unless you have a mischievous pup and I have to leave my home for any reason or your if you ask me to because your pup prefers it. I have an excess amount of poop bags, dog bowls and toys. You don’t have to bring anything except your pup, their meds, a harness and food! Anything extra is at risk of being chewed, misplaced or possibly pottied on, so best leave it at home.

Information Robynn F. would like to know about your pet
1. Please label everything with your pup's name. 2. Send enough food & meds for just the stay plus 1-2 days depending on if you're local or take an international trip. 3. In your profile, please include: -feeding/med schedule & amount to dispense, along with allergies & acceptable human treats they can have. Finally, vet & ER contacts. I will always check back to what you put in Rover, so please try to give me as much information as possible to make your dog’s stay wonderful!
A typical day
We take potty breaks every 90 minutes - 2 hours depending on my zoom call schedule. We either exercise in a fenced area, in the indoor 1000 sq foot space, in the back yard or walks. This is dependent upon my schedule and the needs of the pack. I have a wagon and carriers for dogs that don't like to walk and happy to accommodate dogs that need to primarily stay indoors, I understand some have fears or are just too old for all that exercise. We have tons of harnesses if you forget yours. All dogs get air tag collars when we go on walks and I use a tug free, double handle, belt secured leash system. I take glamour shots when I have a light workload and do more when I can, but paw massages and paw butter are guaranteed in the evenings with doggy spa music. I video most of this if time permits, so you will see their fun vacation with me! I will always communicate if it will be too busy of a day for tons of videos but will always update you a minimum of 4 times a day (AM/PM/Evening/Bedtime).

Pet care experience
Please review my profile details completely & take note of breeds I cannot care for. Due to my heavy schedule, I'm best suited to work with parents who are responsive & punctual with drop off and pick up times or good with communicating delays. Also note, I always average 3-5 dogs but can have upwards of 12, particularly on overlap days for pick ups and drop offs or bad weather delaying flights around holidays, usually. It's imperative that you pup gets along well with others and large packs don't give them anxiety. I wouldn't want to add any unnecessary stress to your fur baby's experience with a sitter while you're away. Hi Soon-To-Be-Friends! I live in a communal space with a main house and two in law apartments attached to the house and separated by french doors. Most of the pack is low energy and if I have a higher number of dogs, at least half of them are probably senior pups that lay on the couch. LOCATION We are in the suburb of West Chicago near Winfield, Geneva, St. Charles, with 2.5 acres fully fenced in (front & back). See photos. We have 1000 sq feet of indoor play space for inclement weather, with a textured, coated floor for no slip and easy cleanup. We have doggy furniture, a costume closet, a photo set, all types of feeding bowls, beds & tons of toys! APOLOGIES With apologies, I am unable to keep the following pups: long haired, excessive droolers, pups who can't navigate stairs unless under 15 lbs then I can carry them, dogs under 2 years, dogs that mark or are not house broken, dogs that are in tact (not fixed). PUBLIC MEET-N-GREET I do prefer to meet in person, but I realize that is not possible for everyone. Certain breeds i will require to meet in person, but others I may be able to do a phone call & book. For my safety and yours, first time meetings will always be at a local public park nearby (not a dog park). HOUSE TOUR BY VIDEO For my safety, and the safety of you, your pets, your family and the other dogs I have in my care at the time of the visit, I do not offer tours inside the home. I am happy to send a video of the space & will send you TONS of videos during their stay. If something in particular concerns you (like kitchen set up or doors, etc), I can Facetime you and show you. And you're always welcome to see the yard. REASON: It is no longer comfortable for me or my family to have tons of strangers coming through the house every week and it can be alarming & disruptive to my pack - especially those with anxiety. I work hard to make them comfortable and strangers and new pets walking through without having proper time to acclimate and introduce, is very challenging. I would never put unnecessary stress on your pups & don't want to expose my current guests to the unknown. Some dogs are reactive to new humans popping in, they scratch my walls, bark, some urinate or vomit. It's not fair to them. If this doesn't work for you, I totally understand! ABOUT ME I grew up with parents who bred and raised dogs. We started with Afghans, Dobies and Rottweilers. Once I got older, I developed an allergy to furry dogs, so short haired or hypo allergenic dogs are preferred. We live near a lot of forest preserves & massive parks (no neighbors behind us) so there's wildlife. I have been dog sitting for decades on and off. Hypo allergenic dogs & very clean short haired pups can sleep in the bed with me if that’s where they feel safest. I aim to minimize pet anxiety and make it comfortable for them. I do have a reactions to strong dander so I have many orthopedic beds and other furniture your pups can sleep on if not in bed with me. I work from home so my home is best for dogs who prefer hanging indoors-lower energy, but larger dogs can run the back yard freely as it is fully fenced (no jumpers and no diggers please, they let in coyotes). I am unable to take long walks when work has picked up, but I'll update this when that changes. I look forward to meeting you and your furry family member(s).

Reviews

Robynn is very attentive to our Bella. She sends update and video so that we can see how she's doing. Will definitely book with her again.

Robynn was absolutely amazing with Cairo! From the moment we connected, she was professional, communicative, and genuinely caring. She kept me updated with messages and photos, which gave me complete peace of mind while I was away. Cairo looked happy, comfortable, and clearly well cared for the entire time. What really stood out was the attention and love she gave him like he was her own dog. It’s not easy trusting someone with your pet, but Robynn exceeded every expectation. I could tell Cairo felt safe, relaxed, and enjoyed his time with her. I highly recommend Robynn to anyone looking for a reliable, trustworthy, and compassionate dog sitter. I will definitely be booking with her again!

Robynn is absolutely amazing and we would leave our baby with her 10 times over! She’s extremely communicative and sent so many pics and videos and updates for her first stay that it made us feeling so much better about leaving her with someone. We have had our doggo at various dog hotels and with her separation anxiety and the lack of personalized experience it was a tough transition dropping her off at the hotels and it was improtant to us to find an environment that felt like home to her. She will usually whine and howl and food strike when we leave her somewhere but she didn’t act that way at all with Robynn and that’s huge !! We’re so grateful to have found someone that our dog is comfortable with and truly loves and cares for dogs being that she is a dog owner herself! Kali had so much fun snuggling and napping and sunbathing. The space she has available outdoors for all the dogs both indoors and outdoors is amazing !! 12/10 would recommend Robynn for boarding/daycare needs !!

Robynn was absolutely incredible, and I truly cannot recommend her enough. From the very beginning, she went above and beyond to make sure both my dogs and I felt completely comfortable. She provided detailed updates throughout the stay, including messages, photos, and videos, which gave me so much peace of mind. It was clear in every interaction how much she genuinely cares for the dogs she watches. She was also very thoughtful in checking in with me, asking questions about my dog’s eating habits and behaviors to make sure everything she was seeing was normal. That level of attention and communication meant so much to me. What really stood out was how she stepped in during a last-minute situation when my original boarding plans fell through. Despite the short notice, she made time for a quick meet and greet and handled it so professionally and thoughtfully. She introduced the dogs one at a time to ensure they were comfortable and compatible, which immediately reassured me that my dogs were in the best hands. You can truly tell that Robynn loves what she does and treats every dog like her own. I felt completely at ease leaving my dogs with her, which is priceless. I will absolutely be rebooking with her and highly, highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring, attentive, and reliable sitter.
