Pet sitting and dog walking are my full-time jobs, and I take bookings every day of the week. I do not take new clients for walks, but I do still have some in my schedule and am usually out of the house for 2-5 hours during the weekdays. For Boarding: When leaving pets alone, I aim for a maximum of five hours. Bookings are first come, first served. If you are the first to book your pet during a specific time period, all other bookings will be monitored based on the dogs already booked. I usually have at least one dog staying with me at any given time.

About Robyn S.

Safety, trust & environment
I require at least one meeting before the start of any service so your pet can become familiar with me. I always aim to ensure your pets feel as comfortable and safe as possible. I believe adaptability is vital in training, handling, and overall care. What works for one dog may not work for another, and I tailor my approach as much as possible to suit each pet. We have a one-acre yard fully enclosed with wire fencing at least 6 feet tall. The house has multiple rooms, enclosed spaces, and kennels to separate dogs if they are being left alone or aren't getting along. The method used will be entirely situation-based. A first meeting is therefore crucial to better understanding your pet and what they are and are not comfortable with. . Please note: I often have dogs from different households staying with me at any given time, especially on weekends. If your pet has a bed, a toy, or another item that will help them feel more at home, you are welcome to bring it with them for a stay, along with their food and any medication or supplements. I also like for there to be a collar with some sort of identification.

Information Robyn S. would like to know about your pet
Let me know if your dog has special needs, dietary restrictions, or behaviours to watch out for. Every dog has a unique personality and things it likes and does not like. It is always best for me to know these things in advance to keep them away from anything that will cause unnecessary stress. For boarding, if your pet is not fixed, please let me know in advance so I can plan accordingly when booking other requests for the same time period.
A typical day
Daily exercise and mental stimulation are crucial for most dogs, and I provide both to the dogs I care for. There are plenty of trails in the area for walks, and the yard is set up to allow maximum play space. We spend a lot of time outside to give the dogs time to play and sniff. However, the exact amount of time varies based on weather and each individual pet's temperament and needs. Please note: Save for a medical emergencies, I never take a pet out in my vehicle without first having permission from the owner.

Professional, Reliable Animal Care
Pet care experience
**Note: -I always have at least one other dog booked to stay with me at any given time and I do not accept pets that cannot be around other dogs. -I require a meet and greet before confirming a boarding request with any new client. I do not allow dogs to stay with me who I have not met at least once before. -I do not accept last minute boarding requests from new clients. If you have booked with me before for boarding or another service, I will accept last minute bookings based on availability. -I am only accepting new clients for boarding services. I do not offer housesitting or daycare. I have been offering services on Rover since 2021, during which time I have handled many animals and temperaments. Working with animals has become my full-time job since 2022, and my goal is always to provide consistent, safe, and reliable service. I have volunteered in multiple vet clinics, where I learned about proper leash handling and some essential medical information. In addition, I am certified in pet first aid through St. John’s Ambulance. I also have experience handling and raising puppies from birth. I also have experience with cat care, from proper feedings to subcutaneous injections and medication administration. When boarding, your pets will benefit from two professionals. My partner is a certified dog handler who specializes in working dogs and dogs with a history of aggression. He has been working with me for several years handling and caring for pets and is certified in pet first aid through St. John’s Ambulance.

Good at communicating good with pictures verry professional would recommend

Murphy didn’t want to leave! Thank you Robyn for your exceptional care and excellent communication. As anxious first-time pet parents, you put us at ease from the start, and you made Murphy’s stay comfortable and fun. We appreciate you! Lauren & Mark

Robyn was great and the dogs loved their stay with her. Rudy is very timid and shy but she warmed right up to Robyn. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for pet Care in the area.

Our senior dog recently spent a week with Robyn. She is amazing! Our boy was well cared for and the pictures and descriptions of his days were so appreciated. He looked so happy in every picture! Lots of room to play in her yard and she is very attentive to the dog's individual needs. He is looking forward to staying with Robyn again!
