Belly rubs are the best treats!
Dog lover extraordinaire! We have had dogs growing up and always felt a special connection to them. We had our own dog that passed away around 12 years ago, and haven’t been ready for our own again as it takes such a hard hit on your heart. We decided to pet sit for our neighbours, family, and friends pets such as birds, dogs, and guinea pigs to get in our furry fix. get our furry fix in! We want to make the dogs feel at home and excited to come back for more visits, If they’re not destructive we allow them on the furniture and try to bring them on errands with us to Winners, The Home Depot, and Canadian Tire! References are available! We home school our youngest 2 kids 12&14 , and have 2 young adult sons as well so someone is usually home. We are usually home during the week aside from running out to take the kids to cheer and dance but often let the dogs tag along for the ride. I only work out of the home 1-2 days of the week and gone for 4-6 hours of those days but my kids 12+ are around to help out with the dogs when I am out. We have been doing this for a very long time so lots of experience for everyone in the home. We have a 20ftx40ft fenced yard. 4 great kids that absolutely adore dogs. We have many amazing walking trails to them for stimulating walks. We frequent the off leash parks so the dogs are free to play and explore. We love to play fetch, tug of war and have lots of snuggles. Please let me know if you have any questions!!!

I had such a great experience with Robyn! She was able to take Opal in on fairly short notice, which I really appreciated. From the beginning, she was so easy to get ahold of and kept me updated throughout Opal’s stay with regular feedback, photos, and videos. Opal got lots of walks, park time, and plenty of love and attention. It gave me such peace of mind knowing she was happy, active, and well cared for. I honestly have no complaints and would highly recommend Robyn to anyone looking for a reliable and caring pet sitter. I will definitely be a repeat customer! 🐾❤️

I was incredibly lucky to book Robyn on short notice AND for my first experience with Rover. She accommodated my schedule and was patient with my questions. My dog, Poet, obviously loved her and the experience—multiple walks, friendly dogs to play with and trips to the off-leash park. It was above and beyond what I expected. I highly recommend!
Communication was excellent, and my dog received excellent care.

Schedule
Someone is almost always home as we homeschool our youngest girls 12&14 years old, I have a 19 year old son that works part time, and I usually work 1 day out of the home a week for roughly 5-7 hours those days. My oldest son works a camp job so he’s home 5 days out of every 3 weeks. My husband is home evenings and weekends to help out. We have been doing this a very long time so everyone is quite confident working with dogs.

We have many a two story home with 4 bedrooms and a bonus room so lots of space for the dogs to have their own personal area. We allow the dogs on the bed and couch as long as no one is sick or having accidents, and as long as the owners allow that. If they’re crate trained we have 2 crates available to use if they’re not being occupied. We have a fully fenced in back yard and are a very active family. We try to go to the dog parks to allow the dogs to have more exercise and also have beautiful trails in our area we enjoy too to stimulate and exercise the dogs. We are all massive dog lovers in this house so the dogs can all have somewhere they’re comfortable to go if they get easily overwhelmed. We absolutely love to snuggle with the pups!!
A typical day
We have amazing trails nearby. Most are within a block from the house. We love to play games like fetch, tug of war, and treat puzzles. We often frequent the dog parks and walking paths. We like to socialize the dogs so friendly dogs only please.

- Let me know if your dog has any behavioural, medical, dietary, and or any other special needs that require extra attention. We are more than happy to accommodate. We have kids that range in age from 12-21. I am ok with leash reactive dogs as this is quite common and I have a strong arm if they lunge, but dogs must get along with other dogs in a home environment as we may accept more than one dog household at a time. Please label all belongings including treats, food and leashes ect. It is preferable that you don’t bring your own bowls or toys as we have lots and they can often get left behind. You are still welcome to bring them but please list items sent on a note with any special instructions for feeding, allergies, medication, and behavioural issues at drop off.
