I work from home and Lucy is with me all day. We exercise and/or have play breaks throughout the day. I have very few commitments outside the home. We are active and live right next to town & state forest with many trails. I run, hike, and mountain bike. We also have 2 ponds which is the best for water-loving dogs!

I take Lucy out every couple of hours on our property (big meadow) or surrounding trails. She is mostly off-leash but can be on-leash if that works better with your dog. Lucy loves all dogs and is a great, energetic playmate. We have a crate if that's part of your dog's routine.

It’s very helpful to have a basic schedule that your dog is used to following. I know my Lucy loves a routine! Also and special feeding instructions or medications. If your dog resource- guards or doesn’t do well off-leash or at dog parks, we can most likely work with that but will need to know ahead of time.
A typical day
- we start the day with a quick trip outside - breakfast - walk/jog/hike 30min - 1hr - I start work (I work at home) - mid-morning trip outside with playtime if lots of energy - lunchtime outing is usually 20min walk or playtime outside - mid-afternoon trip outside with playtime if lots of energy - evening outing of 30min - 1hr walk/run/hike - dinner & settle down - before-bed trip outside We’re flexible but tend to follow this schedule M-F. Weekends will typically include more time outside.

There has always been a dog in my life and it’s the absolute best! I am a big believer in positive reinforcement training. I’ve worked with a dog trainer for a few weeks (with my own dog Lucy) and have enjoyed reading about positive reinforcement training techniques. I always enjoy greeting other furry friends while we’re out on the trails or at the town off-leash area. I have experience with puppies and senior dogs and my current dog Lucy was, (and still sometimes is!), pretty high-energy. We get outside for some energy-burning activity at least 2x a day. We live right next to trails, a pond, and a river. I’ve mostly taken in friends’ dogs over the past couple of years but we’re used to having an extra dog come to stay and would be happy to welcome yours!

Luna had the best time during her stay with Robyn! She received so much exercise and was in heaven playing in all the snow with Lucy. Robyn was absolutely amazing with Jaco. She took care of him as if he were her own. Tons of excersice every day and amazing updates. We were able to rest easy on our vacation. Jaco might have had a better trip than us! We would definitely recommend Robyn to anyone looking to have their dog go on vacation as well.
I couldn’t have found anyone better to take care of our dog, Ellie, than Robyn. Robyn was so great with our pup, she took her on many walks and sent us wonderful photos/videos of Ellie enjoying herself. Robyn went above and beyond and was super flexible with our drop-off/pick-up time. I hope that we’ll be lucky enough to book Robyn again for my next trip away from home. Thank you so much, Robyn!
