My cat, Mouse, joined me as a kitten and changed my life forever. She filled my home with love and taught me how to care for and nurture a beautiful furry creature. As she aged, I also learned how to give her daily medication, and later how to give her subcutaneous injections. Now I pet-sit for friends and family. I am particularly good at earning the trust of timid or anxious senior kitties, including the nearly feral ones who need to be gently coaxed out from under the bed at their own pace. And I love dogs too! I’ve had the pleasure of walking two English spaniels three times a week for the past few months. I love getting to know their unique personalities — from the slower senior dog to the exuberant younger one — and figuring out how best to manage their shared walks so they’re both happy and safe.
