Information Robin K. would like to know about your pet
Have looked after special needs pets before. Mostly in older dogs having health issues or needs. Still great family friends and companions no matter the age or background.
A typical day
Dog parks and rides to stores. Car rides are the best, and feeling free in my fenced in back yard also helps. So hope you feel as excited as I do.

I Have a big passion for caring animals. I enjoy their company as much as they enjoying mine. I’ve learned if you bring love to them they bring love back.

Robin is always wonderful with my 2 couch potatoes!

My boy seemed to have had a nice time there. She sent pics and videos to make me feel at ease.

Robin provided updates which made me feel good about leaving my fur baby.

I’d like to first say this was our first time using rover as a dog booking! I have two puppies that are very playful and medium sized dogs. We went to a meet and greet with Robin which she showed us her sons room and stated that good dogs stay upstairs and wild dogs stay downstairs. We left the meet and greet with the dogs liking her and her enjoying the dogs! However when we dropped the dogs we brought a brand new dog food bag and left her instructions to feed them every meal and explained how much. I told her to separate the two when eating as one likes to eat the others food. We dropped the two on the 4th where she immediately sent pictures of them and said they were doing good with the other dogs and she’d send more pictures soon! We never received more pictures of their stay and I did not bother to text her since she has a newborn, we picked them up today on the 9th. When we arrived at 3pm we rang the bell where her son let our dogs out and brought the remanning dog food out. Immediately we could smell the urine and see visibly the sticky yellow fur on our white dog, letting us know that the dogs has been caged which was told would happen if dogs were “aggressive”. I asked the son if they were caged and he said yes but they were in different cages. We drove home with the two rubbing all over the car where the fur was sticking to all the surfaces from the urine. We immediately washed them and had to multiple times to get them to a acceptable smell. They started drinking the running water and drank for 2.5 minutes straight because they were dehydrated. While drinking we noticed how sucked in their stomachs were and weighed the dog food showing that only 4lbs were missing for the 5 days they were there between two dogs when they usually eat 7.5 lbs in 5 days between the two dogs. Do not only were they locked in cages, starved and thirsty they also came back more finicky. I would not recommend this stay which is unfortunate. Dogs should not be fed half the amount and if there were “issues” with the puppies we were not notified nor spoken to. Urine covered is no way to see an animal and their ribs should not be visible, we are outraged. Thanks for keeping them alive.
