I am a retired event planner who is home all day to care for the dogs. If your pet tends to get anxious, I am here to calm their nerves and help them to feel safe and relaxed. With our yard being almost a full acre of fenced-in area, your dog will get to go outside and get plenty of fresh air and exercise as often as they'd like. At the same time, this is NOT a kennel so when they are ready to come in and relax, they get to. My door gets a lot of use!! There is always someone who is on the wrong side of the door!

Information Robin & John P. would like to know about your pet

Please let me know if your pet has any special needs ahead of time. Including; special feeding instructions, dietary concerns, any triggers or things that typically make them feel uneasy. I'd like to be aware of any physical limitations or areas that I should avoid if petting them.

A typical day

We are up by 6am to let the dog out to go to the bathroom for the first time. Shortly after, they are fed, then let out for some playtime on the property. They'll spend time exploring the yard and playing with each other, perhaps bark at a few neighbors walking by with their dogs from the fence (a favorite past time). Then they usually come in for a mid-morning rest. Most days the will go out no less than 8 times to get fresh air and excercise IF they want to. Noone is sent out that doesn't want to go. Otherwise, its hang out, chew on some toys and jockey for the best petting positions! They'll be fed by 5pm and let out again as needed before bed. Their day will consist of lots of affection and snuggles.

Your Dogs' Home Away From Home

Pet care experience

You won't find a home that loves dogs more than ours. We are fully insured pet sitters. While you are planning your vacation, business or personal trip there are so many things to think about. But the most important thing is that you find a place to bring your furry family member where both you and they feel safe. Let them have their own stay-cation in a relaxing, home invironment in the country. There will be tons of affection, playtime and if they need to be a 100 pound lap dog, that is what will happen! Our home is very spacious with a couple of different areas that can allow for separation if anyone is feeling overwhelmed. We do not crate your dog unless that is their routine or you ask us to....they essentially become part of our family. We find that typically it doesn't take long for them to settle into a fun and relaxing routine here. We have three dogs of our own so I never take on more than 2 boarders at any given time. I don't want anyone to feel overwhelmed here. Our home sits on nearly an acre of fenced in yard with plenty of shade, grass and places to explore. Anytime your dog would like to go out, they are allowed to do so and generally when one goes out, they all want to be out. I am more than happy to do a meet with you and your dog to make sure we are all comfortable if that is something you'd like to do. I think you will find that your dog loves being here and will get excited to come back.

Amazing people. You can tell right away they care for your dog just as much as you would yourself. Our dog had so much fun there I wasn’t sure she would want to come back! Would recommend them to anyone I know and will definitely use them again.

Robin and John always take such amazing care of my little Fred. Her dogs are so gentle with him and he always has plenty of outside time to run wild. I wouldn’t trust anyone else to watch him!!
