I’ve been around animals my entire life and currently care for 3 cats and 1 dog at home, so I understand the importance of finding someone you can truly trust with your pets. I’m comfortable working with pets that need extra patience, reassurance, and individualized care as I have a more gentle and open-minded approach. I have experience caring for dogs with aggressive or unpredictable behaviors, including rescue dogs with trauma from previous abuse. My sister and brother-in-law have trusted me to care for their rescue dog for weeks at a time while they were away, which taught me how important patience, consistency, and reading animal body language can be. I’ve also cared for senior dogs who needed more attentive care, including administering ointments, cleaning eye discharge, and following specific routines to keep them comfortable and healthy. In addition, I’ve rescued and cared for 3 stray cats from my neighborhood who are now residing in my home, so I’m very comfortable with shy or nervous animals as well. I treat every pet like they’re my own and always try to make them feel safe, loved, and comfortable while you’re away.
