Loving your dog while you're away
Since starting with Rover I have gone from a pet "empty-nester" and working part time, to finding my own rescue dogs and not working outside the home at all! I'm looking for dogs that fill my house with joy and who I can pamper, and walk, and play and just hang out with. Most days I'll be available to spend quality one-on-one time with your dog. I've got a great fenced and gated back yard with sun and shade, a house that is pet friendly, and a neighborhood that is full of parks and sidewalks for leisurely walks. I'm looking for well-behaved and socialized dogs. I don't want them to dig, bark excessively, pee in the house, or be aggressive - even a little. I'm an experienced dog sitter who has been working with Rover since 2016, and I've been a dog and cat owner for over 30 years. My caring for your dog will include finding out what they want and are used to, and making sure they receive it, so they will feel happy and safe. I will be home most of the days that your pet is staying with me. We will take walks and they will be able to go in and out of the house as they desire. I'm also known for being available for ball fetch and tug of war! I have a fenced in yard and a house that is safe for animals of all sizes. If your pet is crate trained please bring their crate, and don't forget their bed, which will be their comfort zone at night. My dog enjoys visitors and is not possessive about her space, toys or food.

Robin is professional and delightful, and our little Gracie obviously loved her. Her home is clean, her dog is calm and trustworthy, and she's well-organized! Gracie is 2-1/2, playful, and really enjoyed Robin's attention as well as walks and outside play in the easily accessed and safely fenced backyard. Gracie especially enjoyed another dog about her size who was there at the same time. I would definitely recommend Robin and hope to book Gracie with her again, preferably when she's also hosting another playful dog or two.

We couldn’t be happier with Robin’s help with our two dogs (Lily and Bonnie) over the Christmas holiday. She sent photos and videos daily, including a video of our older dog playing with another of her puppy “clients.” (Lily asked me to set up a play date with Larry, her playmate ?.) Could not ask for a better, more caring sitter.
My precious El Guapo spent the day with Robin while I ran errands. Her backyard is well fenced, I was not worried at all about his safety. He spent his day sleeping and playing with her dog Misty. I would definitely book with Robin again.
This was our first experience with a dog sitter for our two labs. Without a doubt, Robin exceeded our expectations. Our reservations were immediately put at ease after our informal meet and greet at her home. Throughout the time the dogs spent with her during our vacation abroad, we received multiple updates and photos assuring us that the dogs were getting exceptional treatment. We would venture to say that the dogs had as wonderful a vacation at Robin's as we did on our trip. Backyard play, daily walks, even a trip to a swimming pool! Robin would be our first choice for any future dog sitting, and we would recommend her without hesitation.

Schedule
I'm focused on pet care, and generally don't leave the dogs alone more than a couple of hours at a stretch. The household rises early and it's lights out by 9 PM.

My back yard is enclosed with a wall and two gates. I live in a residential area and it is quiet and peaceful inside and out and I am able to keep the dogs separated from doors to the outside should we be welcoming four-legged or two-legged guests.
Pets
A typical day
Most days I will take your dog for a morning walk, and depending on the time of year, often a short walk in the evening. We can play ball in the backyard or they can just relax and sunbathe on the patio. Often there are a couple of dogs here and occasionally, if I know the dogs and know they will get along and play well together, I will accept up to 3 to watch at a time. This has worked out well for the dogs, who often leave here the best of friends.
