While I've been a lifelong pet owner, in early 2021 I retired, much to my elder Bichon's delight. We had a wonderful time in his final years, and I gained plenty of geriatric dog care experience. Now, I enjoy offering first class care to your beloved small dogs.

Robin was awesome while watching my Pomeranian, Walter during a recent trip I took. Leaving the big guy behind made me a little nervous as he's older, but Robin set my mind at ease from the meet and greet on. She sent photo updates throughout his stay, showing Walter looking happy, pampered, and right at home. It was clear she treated him like her own, paying close attention to his routines and giving him all the cuddles he could possibly want. Walter had such a wonderful time that I honestly think he may have been a little disappointed when he got home. If you are looking for someone trustworthy, caring, and attentive to look after your furry family member, I highly recommend Robin. We will be booking with her again as the need arises.
Robin was a wonderful dog sitter for our little guy. She communicated effectively and shared updates while we were away. I felt very comfortable having Robin watch our dog, and highly recommend her. Our dog is an older dog and requires extra attention, and Robin provided it. We will use her expertise again.
I have known Robin for many years. During that time, she has cared for my pup Riley on many occasions. He absolutely loves her! Robin has an affinity for animals and really enjoys spending time with them. Robin is a very loving, patient and kind person. I was able to travel, knowing that my Riley was in very responsible hands. She is dependable, and made sure my pup had plenty of walks, belly rubs and playtime. She is definitely my go to person for pet caregiving!

Schedule
I'm rarely away from home for more than 2-3 hours at a time, and I can be flexible with my schedule to meet your pet's needs.

Safety, trust & environment
No other pets at home. Small backyard is securely fenced. I do request only crate-trained pups, but I'm home most of the time, and they are welcome on the furniture. I keep a tidy and tranquil home and offer frequent backyard visits and daily exercise that meets your pet's needs. They will receive lots of 1:1 attention, playtime, and plenty of pets and snuggles (assuming they want them).
A typical day
If your dog is active, I can walk them within the neighborhood, and we can visit nearby parks. If your dog is more of an introvert, the private and secure backyard is all theirs as often as they like. There is also a covered area in the backyard if they enjoy relaxing in the fresh air without being directly in the sun or rain. I encourage bringing their favorite toys, blankets and beds, so they are as comfortable as possible. (I appreciate them being brought over clean.) I enjoy providing photos and videos, and I'll send you updates as often as you prefer. I know how it feels to find the right care for your furry family members. Rest assured that your pup will be completely pampered while you are away. Thank you for considering me to care for your beloved pet.

- I do have experience administering medications and caring for anxious animals. Feel free to be candid about any of your pet's behaviors that you think I should be aware of while you are away. What is your pet's preferred wake up and bedtime schedule? Feeding schedule? Treats? Typical daytime activity level? How are they when meeting strangers or other dogs while on leash? Any health concerns or special care needs?
