Quiet Retreat for Small Seniors

If I have a specialty, it's senior dogs. I absolutely adore older dogs and all the personality that comes with them. I understand that they often need a little more patience, a little more routine, and a little more attention to the details. I share my home with a senior small dog of my own, so scheduled meals, medications, mobility concerns, and cozy nap spots are all part of everyday life around here. I've been an animal lover my entire life. Between rescue dogs, pet sitting for friends and family, and caring for my own pets over the years, I've learned that every dog is different and deserves care that fits their individual needs. My home is calm, comfortable, and well suited for smaller dogs and gentle companions. We have a fenced backyard, enjoy neighborhood walks, and keep a predictable routine that helps dogs settle in and feel at ease. When your dog stays with me, I want them to feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. Whether that's a sunny spot for a nap, a leisurely walk, extra snuggles, or simply a quiet place to relax, my goal is to make their stay feel less like boarding and more like spending time with a trusted friend.

I truly feel so comfortable leaving my Beagle with Robin as I know that she does a terrific job listening to Zoe's boundaries and never pushes her. Zoe had a rough past and it's reassuring to find a sitter who can go with the flow; even when that flow means no walk bc there are scary construction noises down the street! Thank you again Robin!!

Robin was so easy to work with and took great care of my Beagle! She took the time to ask lots of questions to really understand my dog's unique quirks. Zoe had a great time with her new nap-buddy, Lumpy, and Robin! Would definitely use Robin's services again!

Robin took care of my older cat while I was on vacation in New York for 5 days. My cat is a bit tricky to handle sometimes. I gave a lot of very detailed instructions and she said how helpful they were and was thankful to have them! This showed me that she truly took the time to read all of my notes & take my advice and apply it when taking care of my cat. She did 1 home visit a day and went truly above and beyond making sure she was well taken care of and provided reassuring check ins! I really appreciate knowing a great animal sitter that I can trust after hearing so many horror stories from others. Robin's attention to detail and taking her role seriously have made her my go to cat sitter moving forward. I highly recommend! You will not regret it. Thanks again Robin for being so easy to work with and communicative and taking care of my sweet cat.

Schedule

I currently work for myself and set my own schedule, which gives me a great deal of flexibility when caring for pets. Because I don't work a traditional 9-to-5 schedule, I'm able to plan my day around feeding times, walks, medications, potty breaks, and other pet care needs. This allows me to provide consistent attention and maintain the routines that help pets feel comfortable and secure.

Safety, trust & environment

Pets staying in my home can expect a calm, structured environment with plenty of attention and supervised time in my fenced backyard. I follow each dog's routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, medications, and any special instructions from their owner. I also share my home with a senior small dog who is far more interested in naps and snacks than drama. He's gentle, easygoing, and generally happy to coexist with other respectful dogs. Introductions are done thoughtfully so everyone can settle in comfortably. My goal is for your dog to feel safe, relaxed, and right at home while you're away.
