We LOVE senior pets! 💗
I've been a pet owner for more than 30 years. I worked in vet medicine for over 5 years. I have been an adopter of senior pets for over 20 years. I have a special place in my heart for senior pets and I know from experience how hard it can be to go away when you have a senior at home. We don't want to kennel them...too much noice and not enough one on one special treatment. Will they know how to give my old timer meds? What if they get sick, will they know when it's time to take them to the vet? Heck, will they even notice? As lovers of old dogs, my husband and I have battled these questions ourselves. Since our last old timer passed, we wanted to provide a place that the humans to the senior pets can go and enjoy time away and know that their dog is well cared for and well loved.

Robin and Andrew were fantastic with Guinness. We received many photos and updates of our dog during his week long stay. He looked happy and relaxed during his stay. We will definitely leave our boy with them again.
We were so pleased to find Robin and Andrew to look after our Charlie. They are a really friendly and down to earth couple who looked after him as if he were their own. Great communication, daily photos and flexible to meet our dates. We would definitely recommend them and hope to use them again in the future. 😊
Our dog, who is very anxious, did very well with Robin and Andrew. He was clearly loved and well taken care of.
Robyn and Andrew were so welcoming and accommodating to both myself and my pup. They treated him like gold and went above and beyond. I’m sure Riggins is already looking forward to his next stay :)
Andrew and Robin were awesome, Lady was at home within minutes of arriving. We were kept well informed with pictures and videos the whole time and Lady looked to be having a great time with them.
Thank you for taking Leo on short notice. She seemed to really enjoy her time there!

Schedule
I am self employed and work most of the day from home, and when I go to work, my husband is home from work. That means that your senior is almost never alone. If they like a stroll, we can do that. If they are couch potatoes, we can cuddle.

Safety, trust & environment
We have a front balcony that the dogs have always love to sun themselves on when the weather is nice enough for that. The large patio doors to that balcony means that they get to lay in a sunbeam and look out at the action on the street no matter the weather. Our large open living room mean there is tons of room for toys and dog beds and hanging out. We have a fenced back yard with a run for potty time. The run is 2 steps down to get into. The view from our back deck is an environmental reserve so the doggos have always loved to sit out there and sun themselves. In the summer we have a complete outdoor living room where, just like inside, the dogs are welcome on the furniture.
A typical day
We take that from you. If your pup loves a good walk, then we do that. If they prefer to cuddle on the sofa, we got that covered too. If they like a little canine companionship, we have a lovely dog next door and a neighbour gate so they can say hello and play in both yards. If your dog is a solo creature, we keep the neighbour gate closed. We can fetch, we can lounge, we can walk. Your senior's enjoyment is what we care about most.
