About this sitter I live with two mellow cats, Midnight and Buddha, who have grown up with dogs. Buddha thinks he’s a dog and always greets every dog that comes in whether or not they have been here before. Midnight is friendly but typically hides for awhile until she comes out. Why I love dog sitting I find pet sitting quite rewarding. I enjoy walking the dogs; it’s beneficial to both the fur babies as well as myself both physically and mentally. I’m fortunate enough to meet all breeds, sizes and personalities having pet sitting as a full time career. I’m a certified, former veterinarian assistant who finds pet sitting much more rewarding. My booking did not go as planned. Roberta had booked other dogs to watch simultaneously with mine. She did not advise me of this until after I arrived to drop off my dogs. While this might not be a negative factor with other owners (and may actually be beneficial for some owners), my dogs need to be introduced slowly when meeting other dogs. They can be a bit aggressive at first but then settle down. There was an incident and Roberta called me while I was enroute to my weekend vacation and said I'd have to come pick up my dogs!! I managed to get someone to pick them up and arrange other care for them but it was quite traumatic trying to do this. I believe Roberta is a good person and sitter, but you should check if there will be other dogs there if you want to book with her!

This was my first time booking on Rover and I was a little nervous, but Roberta treated my little ladies like they were her own!! All of the pictures and quick responses made me feel at ease and I couldn’t have asked for a better sitter😊

Our dog Murray always enjoys his visits with Roberta! She keeps us up to date, and takes great care of him while we're away. We look forward to scheduling with her again soon!

I’ve been petsitting and dog walking full time now for 5 years. I’ve been petsitting now for 11 years. I love meeting new breeds and learning about the different personalities.

I like taking the dogs in the Spring and Summer to Nolde Forest as it’s close to my home. I also like taking them to walk at Wyomissing park.
