Safety, trust & environment
Your pet will be staying in a safe, loving, and supervised home environment alongside my friendly and sociable male corgi and female cat. They are both very comfortable with other animals and humans, so your pet will have positive companionship and social interaction during their stay. Safety is always my priority. I carefully introduce pets to ensure everyone feels comfortable, and I can separate spaces if needed depending on your pet’s temperament or preferences. I also follow your instructions closely—whether it’s feeding schedules, medications, or specific routines—so your pet’s care stays consistent. I have a large, secure patio with both sunny and shaded areas, perfect for dogs who enjoy spending time outdoors in a safe space. Inside, pets are free to relax and feel at home, with constant supervision throughout the day. My goal is to create a calm, stress-free environment where your pet feels safe, comfortable, and cared for at all times. Information Roberta P. would like to know about your pet
Please let me know if your dog has any special needs, routines, or behaviors I should be aware of. This includes things like dietary requirements, medications, energy level, social preferences, or anything that helps me provide the best care possible. For boarding in my home, I only accept dogs that are spayed or neutered to ensure a calm and balanced environment for all pets. However, for house sitting, drop-in visits, or walks, this is not a requirement. My goal is to create a safe, comfortable experience tailored to your pet’s individual needs, so the more I know, the better I can care for them.
A typical day
We start with a nice walk around the neighborhood where dogs can explore, sniff, and enjoy their time at their own pace. I believe sniffing and exploring is just as important as exercise for their happiness. During the day, we include playtime like fetch in the park or trips to the dog beach for extra fun and energy release. I also like to incorporate light training and reward-based activities, using treats to reinforce positive behaviors and keep your dog mentally engaged. For cats, I make sure they get daily interactive play as well—wand toys, enrichment activities, and treat-based games to keep them active, stimulated, and happy.

Pet care experience
I’m comfortable caring for dogs of all ages—puppies are not a problem, and I also provide gentle, patient care for senior dogs. I have experience with training and always focus on creating a safe, structured, and loving environment for every pet. I grew up surrounded by dogs and cats, which instilled in me a deep love for animals. Today, I have an 8-year-old corgi (he’s been with me since he was just 2 months old) and a 2-year-old cat, so caring for pets is part of my everyday life. Their health and happiness is everything to me, and making pets feel safe and loved truly brings joy to my life. My corgi is incredibly sweet, social, and intuitive. He gets along with every animal and naturally takes on the role of a responsible host, caring deeply about every pet that visits. My 2-year-old cat is also very friendly—not just with humans but with other animals too, and she often plays with visiting dogs who are up for it. In my home, guest dogs have freedom and are treated like family. Unless you prefer otherwise, they are welcome to sleep on the bed, couch, or wherever they feel most comfortable. We go on at least two walks a day (30+ minutes each), and every few days we visit the dog beach for a few hours. I’m always happy to adjust routines, activity levels, and care based on your dog’s specific needs. I provide a safe, loving, and social environment where your pet will feel at home. Since I work from home, I am available to care for your furry friend 24/7. Even when I'm out running errands or attending to other matters, my family, including my husband and high school junior son, will be there to ensure that your pet is never left alone or unsupervised. I understand how important pets are, and I treat them with respect and love. Their mental and physical health are crucial, which is why I make sure to incorporate playtime and regular walks into their daily routine. However, I also understand that each pet has its own unique personality and preferences, so I only engage in activities that they enjoy. You can trust me to take good care of your pet and treat them as if they were a part of my own family. With my years of experience and love for animals, your furry friend will be in good hands.

Joey had a great time. I appreciated that Roberta kept me up to date with his activities. I loved that she sent photos daily.
My dog, Dublin loves Roberta and enjoys every minute with her and her sweet corgi. Dublin gets lots of exercise and attention from Roberta and her wonderful family. She texts photos and updates. My husband and I are so happy and content to leave our pooch with Roberta. She’s the best.
