I have been a lifelong pet owner of many furry companions including 7 cats, 8 golden retrievers, 2 cocker spaniels, a terrier mix, and 2 rabbits. I devoted over 5 years in rescue as a foster of over 20 dogs, focusing primarily on care-giving for senior, special needs, and behavioral dog situations. I volunteered for ten years at Best Friends Animal Sanctuary in Kanab, Utah working with dogs, cats, and rabbits. I have also done vacation relief at a 24-hour boarding facility caring for up to 15 dogs. Additionally, I have participated in several dog training and socializing programs. I spent many years as a pet photographer and am currently a co-owner in a dog treat-baking company. Having recently retired from a full-time professional career as the Executive Director of Arizona Highways PhotoScapes, I have ample time to give your furry friend(s) the love, attention, and care while you are away.

Roberta took excellent care of our German Shepherd! She was responsive and provided frequent updates, and made sure our boy was very happy.

Our first time using Rover. Roberta was highly responsive throughout the booking process and accommodated a quick meet and great prior to us boarding our five-month-old puppy. Her home is beautiful and clean, and the back yard offers a secure outdoor space. She sent frequent photo updates of fun activities she engaged in with our little guy. Roberta also very accommodating with drop off and pick up times, thanks again! Her love and genuine care for animals are evident in her bio, and I would highly recommend her services. Will definitely be a returning customer.
Roberta was so wonderful with my mini puppy Louie. We needed coverage the night before and she was very communicative, flexible and easy to work with. She has a long history caring for animals and immediately made Louie comfortable and happy. She was a pleasure to work with and I would rebook Roberta if we were ever back in town!
Roberta did great with our boys! We have 2 pit bulls, one who struggles with anxiety and was injured just before we left town, and she took wonderful care of them both. We got lots of great pictures and updates while we were gone and you could tell they were both happy and didn’t miss us at all - exactly what we hope for when we leave.
Roberta checks off everything we were looking for in a pet sitter & more! Immediately we could tell how caring and passionate she is for what she does. She took great care of our mini Aussie. We loved the text updates and pics she sent while we were away. She left our house as clean as it was when we left. We’ve already booked her again!

Schedule
Having been fortunate to retire early, my days are open for walks, playtime, snuggling, and overnight stays. I am here to care for your furry family member.

Safety, trust & environment
I reside in a one-story single-family home with a fenced yard and a pet-friendly dwelling. I have a large kennel for dogs 50 lbs and up and a smaller kennel suitable for dogs under 50 lbs. I am home most of the day so your pet will rarely be left alone.
A typical day
I like to take dogs for walks and play fetch or ball. If desired, we can work on training or simply cuddle for some love.
