Dogs make me happy!
I am retired and do not currently have any pets of my own. I am volunteering at the Maryland SPCA to walk dogs and help socialize them to get them ready for adoption. I enjoy greeting dogs I pass in the park or around town (with owner approval of course). But, I would also enjoy caring for your dog when you have other commitments.

Safety, trust & environment
I live in a small apartment so caring for your pet in your home would be the best option. They would be in their own environment and have access to all their toys, beds, etc. I have experience caring for pets for in client’s homes as far back as when I lived in Colorado 10 years ago, and more recently here in MD and also for my niece in PA.

Roberta is the best! She is attentive to my dogs, highly communicative and responsible. The pups love having Roberta stay with them and it is clear she really enjoys the pups. I highly recommend Roberta.
As always, Roberta took great care of our cat and sent detailed updates. We came home tonight to a happy and well fed kitty!

Roberta is a wonderful sitter. She engaged both puppies and the cat in activities and clearly gave them a lot of attention. She made sure our one puppy had her eye care as well. Roberta is communicative and dependable. I highly reccomend her services.
Roberta took care of our high energy Australian Shepherd and two cats in our home over a long weekend trip and was fantastic. She provided really thoughtful and thorough updates to us each day with photos as well. Our Aussie has a few quirks and can be a little harder to handle and we really appreciated Roberta’s patience and working with him. We definitely hope to work with her again!
Roberta took amazing care of our cat while we were out of the country. She came by multiple times for drop-in visits, sent detailed daily updates, and plenty of pictures. Our cat gets very lonely when he’s left alone and Roberta made sure to play with him and give him lap time! We will definitely be booking with Roberta next time we go out of town.

Schedule
I am retired. I have a few volunteer rolls that I have taken on. They are about 2 to 3 hours at a time, but I can be flexible with scheduling them.
