Safety, trust & environment
Our cats get plenty of attention. They are housebound, but we let them out occasionally on an elevated deck that does not have stairs, so they are contained there. We have a cat tree in the breakfast room that faces outdoors to two bird feeders. There is plenty of activity, plus a feeder that attaches to the window that gets frequent birds.
Information Robert W. would like to know about your pet
First and foremost, is it a friendly dog? How well does it take to strangers? Is the dog aggressive toward other dogs? How well does it play with other dogs?
A typical day
I firmly believe that walks are best for dogs. A tennis ball is a simple toy to get that extra joy out of a dog. There are 3 dog parks I would like to take them to, but not until I have worked with them for while.

Pet care experience
Growing up, I was fortunate to have a terrier from the time she was a puppy until her death an amazing 18 years later. She was my backyard companion. Later during my marriage, we adopted a Border Collie mix. She was such a sweetie. I loved taking her for a walk right after I got home from work. We had her for 16 wonderful years. At the same time, we had 2 cats. The male contracted FIV, so I worked with the vet and arranged weekly then monthly immunity shots. We had him for a number of extended years because of the shots. The other cat was my sister's who reached a point where she could not take care of it. I adopted it and she became my buddy for many years afterward.
Reviews
During the 11 years that I have known him, my husband Robert has spoken fondly about his childhood dog Cindy. He has reminisced often about his dog Katie of 17 years, whom he loved to walk, and his cats Moses and Sheba (all passed before we met). Stripes, my cat when we met, quickly became Robert’s cat as well. He frequently slept in Robert’s lap but never mine! When Stripes became terminally ill, Robert skillfully gave him medicine and shed a tear when he passed. A year later we adopted two six-week-old kittens who still sleep in Robert’s lap only! Robert has enriched their lives in many ways, such as recovering a carpeted cat tower that Stripes had demolished and buying beds to keep them warm in winter. He has also selected some of their favorite toys and treats. I am confident that he will care for others’ pets as well as he has ours.
Hi, close friend here. I've known Robert for many years and have observed how he treated both dogs and cats. Robert is one of the most considerate people I've ever known. He is totally trustworthy and loves to play with a dog and pet cats. You will not go wrong with Robert!
Robert was my neighbor for many years at that time he had a dog and two cats and the pets lived in unity. He would walk Katie his dog in our park every day even though he had a fenced back yard. He is a real calm and responsible person. He loves pets and he loved to play with my Doberman. I trust him 100 percent to always do the right thing.
