I have a flexible schedule and plenty of time to give your pets the attention they deserve. I’m available throughout the day for drop-in visits, dog walks and cat care, including weekends and holidays. I’m happy to work with your pet’s usual routine and schedule visits around the times they’re accustomed to being fed, walked or having some company. Keeping their routine as familiar as possible can help them feel comfortable while you’re away. Whether you need regular weekly visits, an occasional helping hand or care while you’re away, I’ll work with you to find a schedule that works well for you and your pets.

Your pet’s safety and your peace of mind are very important to me. When caring for pets in your home, I’ll carefully follow the instructions and routines you provide, including feeding, walks, potty breaks, litter box care and any special instructions for your pet. I’ll make sure doors and gates are securely closed, use your pet’s leash or harness as instructed, and pay close attention to their behavior and surroundings during walks and visits. I also understand that you’re trusting me with your home, and I take that responsibility seriously. While you’re away, I’m happy to bring in mail or packages and adjust lights or blinds as requested. Before leaving, I’ll make sure your pet is comfortable, your home is secure, and I’ll send you a photo and update so you know how the visit went.

Please also let me know how they do around other animals and people, as well as anything that may frighten or upset them. The more I know about your pet, the better I can keep them comfortable and safe.

During a visit, I’ll follow your pet’s normal routine, whether that means a walk, playtime, feeding, a potty break, or simply some companionship and attention. I enjoy spending time with pets and letting them set the pace. I’ll make sure they’re comfortable and cared for, and I’ll send you an update and picture so you know how they’re doing.

I’ve had dogs and cats throughout most of my adult life and understand that they’re truly part of the family. Having cared for pets for many years, I’m comfortable with different personalities, routines and needs. One of the pet families I currently care for affectionately calls me “Uncle Bob.” That’s exactly the kind of relationship I hope to build with the pets in my care. I’m dependable, patient and attentive, and I take the responsibility of caring for your pets and your home seriously. I’m comfortable caring for puppies and kittens as well as adult and senior dogs and cats. I’ll carefully follow the routines and instructions you provide so your pets receive the care they’re accustomed to. I provide more than a quick drop-in. During your pet’s 30- or 60-minute visit, I’ll make sure they get plenty of personal attention along with fresh water, feeding and a potty break or walk when appropriate. Playtime, cuddles and brushing are all part of the visit when your pet enjoys them. Whether your pet loves walks and playtime, brushing and belly rubs, or simply having someone nearby for companionship, I’ll give them the individual attention they’re used to receiving from you.
