Can’t believe I get paid for this!
I’ve had a beagle, shih-tzu, Maltese shitzu mix, and a pug (19 years of caring for dogs). Needless to say, they’re all very different personalities ranging from super affectionate to super independent (almost like a cat). Responsibilities including: vet visits, grooming appointments, bathing, walks at least twice a day, potty training, puppy care, etc. I’ve had friends leave dogs under my care for weeks at a time and seeing their excitement never gets old. I truly believe dogs are family members and should be treated as such. I’ve had dogs across all life stages and understand the complexity of navigating each dog’s nuances and idiosyncrasies. Also, I work in the behavioral health/sciences so I will make sure that we are on the same page regarding behavior management!

This was my first time using a sitter overnight,I knew once I viewed Robert’s profile he was perfect for my dog Shadow. He’s very caring and gave my dog an overall awesome experience and kept us updated with pics,I would definitely book him in the future.

Robert was great with Carter! He is very thorough and his care will exceed your expectations. He communicates well and often, providing lots of updates and pictures (we’re first time dog parents, so we were naturally anxious. These pictures/updates really helped put our minds at ease). He is super accommodating. My partner and I 10/10 recommend Robert!
Robert is awesome and very accommodating. I had a last minute change of plans and needed to extend another night which he gladly took care of Zoey :-) I will definitely request Robert again when I am in town:-)
Rob was awesome with our dog and great in communication and providing regular updates and pictures. Would highly recommend him for anyone looking for a sitter in San Diego.

Schedule
I work full-time so 8:30am-5pm Monday-Friday. I can provide care before 7:30am and/or after 5:30pm on weekdays. My weekends are free so I can provide as much as needed starting from 5:30pm on Friday to 7:30 am on Monday.

Safety, trust & environment
I can crate your dog in your home if needed, but in the past I’ve dog sat within my friend’s homes of which the dogs were free to roam the house with occasional no furniture boundary. Can crate your dog within your home if preferred.
A typical day
-walks -dog park -car rides (if owner is comfortable) -dog beach -fetch -cuddles while watching airbud -and anything you do with daily with your pup I’ve left out.
