I take time to learn each pet’s personality and make sure they feel comfortable through patience, attention, playtime, and companionship. When caring for a pet in a client’s home, I will treat their home with the same respect I would want for my own. The most important things for me to know ahead of time are your pet’s personality, daily routine, and anything that makes them feel comfortable and safe. I’d like to know their feeding schedule, favorite toys or activities, any fears or triggers they may have, how they interact with other pets or people, and any special instructions they need. Every pet is different, and I want to make sure I’m giving them the same love, patience, and care they’re used to receiving at home.
A typical day
I will make sure your pets get plenty of fun, playtime, and attention while they’re with me. I love giving that same fun, playful energy back to dogs because they bring so much joy themselves. Whether it’s playing fetch, running around, chasing each other, or playing tug-of-war with their favorite toy, I’ll make sure they have a great time. If your dog enjoys relaxing, I’d even be happy to put on a little Bluey and hang out with them. 😆 I think it’s a great show, and I’ll always try to make their time with me feel comfortable, exciting, and full of love.
