Last month my last fur baby passed. I have fenced yard and a 2 bedroom house and live alone. Lots of room in the house. I gave my two dogs multiple pills for their heart disease until it took their lives.

Pet care experience

I was 3 years old when my family got our 1st dog. Since then have had 5 dachshunds. My grandfather had greyhounds that I spent hours with as a child. Recently I had 2 brother and sister rescue chihuahuas. Both had mitral valve disease. I have giving multiple medications several times a day for senior dogs. Both have passed due to MVD. One 13 the other 15. Have had this experiance with senior dogs with health conditions.

Robert’s family has had dogs since he was about three years old. His latest two dogs were brother and sister Chihuahua rescues. Later in their lives, they developed heart disease and passed away. The last one was just a month ago. He took special care to give them their medication and never missed a dose. He helps extend their lives as long as possible. He took the brother and sister because he didn’t want them to be separated. He took special care with him in the car, putting them in a carrier and strapping it in with seatbelts. Never letting them run free in the car where they could be injured with sudden stops. After seeing how his meticulous care over 15 years with this two Chihuahuas, he is well qualified to take care of other people’s dogs.
