Safety, trust & environment
Being two of us (my partner and I), we have a system of at least one of us being around to watch over any dog we sit, making sure he/she is comfortable and happy. We have two dogs, so we will allow your pup to sniff around the house and get a feel for the space on its own first. We then introduce one of our dogs at a time so the pup we're boarding doesn't get overwhelmed. For the safety of each owner's pet, we do not take any dogs to the dog park, unless explicitly approved by owner with knowledge that we cannot be held liable to harm by other dogs to owner's pup. Please make sure to review Rover's guidelines when it comes to urgent care/dog attacks.

Information Robert E. would like to know about your pet
I do ask that you please let me know of any special requirements ahead of time so we can better prepare to care for your pup.
A typical day
A typical day would consist of an early morning walk around the block, making our way down to the park around the corner, do some sniff testing, stop to smell the roses, take a few cutesy photos, walk along the river, then come back for breakfast and play time. In the afternoon, we can go for a short walk in the shade and go on another sniffing expedition, then come back to cuddle for a bit and have a little nap.

Pet care experience
Howdy! I'm Bobby. Just moved to Fitler Square (Philly) from Austin, Texas. My partner and I use Rover as a duo to dog sit in our home located just around the corner from the Schuylkill dog park. We also have 2 small shar peis, Lennix and Maddix, who love looking out the window to neighborhood watch throughout the day. I got my first dog (Roxy) when I turned 20 and she was with me for the entirety of my twenties. She watched as I switched jobs, moved from home to home, and experienced life with me, witnessing all my challenges and growth. She sadly passed just as I turned 30. Throughout the 10 years she was by my side, I learned new skills and ways to care for the best human companion on Earth, so I'm here to show just how well I can watch over your pup while you're away. ☺ I have a Little Free Library outside my house — feel free to use it as well. Corner of Manning and 24th.
Reviews

Robert was so kind and wonderful with our dog, what a delight! Thank you!

Missy had the best time with Robert! Grateful that she was in great hands.

Loved Robert. Made sure he knew all about my dogs needs; asked several questions. Easy to work with. Had a quick meet and greet. Sent great pictures on fun outings. Also just hanging out on the front porch people watching...party hats and all ;) I love it. My boy Boudreaux will be back for sure.

Robert was great with Lulu! He was responsive, responsible and flexible. He sent adorable photos and gave plenty of updates. Wouldn't hesitate to book him again! Excellent experience. Thank you :)
