About Robert D.
Dog skills
Safety, trust & environment
Your dog’s safety is always my first priority. Before every walk, I’ll make sure collars, harnesses, and leashes are secure. I’ll pay close attention to your dog’s comfort, energy level, and the weather, making sure they always have opportunities to rest and hydrate when needed. I believe every dog deserves patience, encouragement, and plenty of positive interaction. Whether your pup is energetic and adventurous or calm and curious, I’ll make sure they have a safe, enjoyable experience from start to finish. You’ll also receive photo updates after every walk because I know how much owners love seeing their best friend having fun.
Information Robert D. would like to know about your pet
Before our first walk, I’d love to learn as much as I can about your dog! Please let me know about their personality, energy level, favorite activities, any medical conditions or medications, leash manners, reactivity toward people or other dogs, fears or triggers, and any commands they know. If your dog has a favorite route, park, or routine, I’m happy to follow it. The more I know ahead of time, the better I can provide a safe, enjoyable, and personalized experience for your best friend. That being said, if your dog isn’t comfortable around other dogs or lots of people that’s absolutely okay! I’m more than happy to choose quieter routes, secluded parks, or peaceful hiking trails where they can burn off energy, explore, and have an amazing adventure without the stress of crowded areas. Every dog deserves a fun outing, and I’m committed to making each walk fit their individual needs.
A typical day
Every walk is tailored to your dog’s personality and energy level. If your pup enjoys taking it easy, we’ll enjoy a relaxed stroll with plenty of time to sniff and explore. If they love adventure, then so do I! I’m always up for long walks, jogging, hiking local trails, exploring parks, or even heading to the beach if that’s something you’re comfortable with. I genuinely enjoy being active, and I love giving dogs an outing they’ll look forward to. My goal isn’t just to take your dog for a quick walk—it’s to make their day more exciting, enriching, and fun while making sure they return home happy, exercised, and ready for a well-earned nap. If you have a specific route, destination, or activity in mind, I’m more than happy to make it happen!

Pet care experience
I’ve spent years caring for my own dogs and understand the responsibility that comes with earning a dog’s trust. Daily walks, exercise, playtime, feeding, and learning each dog’s unique personality have become part of everyday life for me. While I’m new to Rover, I’m committed to providing dependable, energetic, and personalized care for every dog I meet. I genuinely enjoy spending time with dogs and making sure they get the exercise and attention they deserve.
