Before I watch your pet, I just like to get the basics so I can take care of them the right way. Things like their personality, any quirks or triggers, their routine, what they eat, and if they’ve got any health stuff I need to know about. I also ask about the commands they know and what they’re into — toys, treats, whatever. The more I know, the smoother everything goes and the happier your fur family is.
A typical day
When I’m watching pets, I make sure they have a great time and feel completely comfortable. Depending on your dog’s energy level and personality, I’ll mix in activities like: -Long neighborhood walks or a good paced stroll to get their legs moving -Playtime — fetch, tug-of-war, or whatever their favorite toy is -Mental stimulation games like treat puzzles or simple command training -Backyard time for sniffing, exploring, and relaxing in the sun -Adventure outings to a nearby park or trail (if you’re okay with it) -Calm bonding time — brushing, belly rubs, and just hanging out so they feel secure -Evening wind-down routines to help them settle in for the night My goal is always to match their vibe — whether that’s high-energy play or quiet companionship — and make sure they feel happy, safe, and loved while you’re away.
