Animal lover (especially dogs)
I've taken care of neighbors' pets since I was a kid, and was always asked back! Growing up, my family was graced with Hannah, a lurcher greyhound rescue. I've also cared for my sister's turtle Monkey while she was living with me, and love visiting the pets of my friends and relatives. (Shout-out to Monkey, Sophie, Abby, Hari, and Starbuck!) I have a very severe cat allergy and can't care for cats at the moment, but I am in the early stages of immunotherapy to mitigate that.

Robert is not only a responsible, detail-oriented individual, but also is the kind of generous spirit that humans and pets alike trust intrinsically. I didn't have pets growing up, so I have a little bit of anxiety around even the slightest fluctuations, but Robert is calm, informed, and compassionate.
Robert grew up respecting and loving animals! Our dog (Hannah) was a beloved member of our family for 14 years. Robert was a kind and loving caregiver to Hannah. Hannah especially loved when Robert would walk her.
Robert A. is a kind, caring, responsible & dedicated person who loves pets. He lovingly cared for our dog, a greyhound mix, many times. Robert is reliable and smart. Your pet will be in excellent hands!
I often say that Robby is a pet-whisperer (especially dogs!) He has such a knack for tuning into their needs and they feel at ease and drawn to him. Having grown up with pets (reptiles and dogs alike) he is someone who is a natural when it comes to caring for them. You’d be in great hands with Robby as a walker/sitter! 10/10 recommend.

Schedule
I'm working part-time with a theater company, and my schedule with them is very flexible! I can easily build my schedule around the needs of you and your pets.

Safety, trust & environment
A pet's safety and well-being are my primary concerns. I want to make sure they're eating healthy, getting plenty of exercise and stimulation, and are happy whenever I'm around. I keep a pet's individual behavioral patterns in mind while outside on walks, and do everything I can to make sure there are no incidents between pets and other people. I am attentive to any irregularities in appearance or behavior that may indicate an issue, and am quick to alert the owner or reach out to a vet.
A typical day
Playing (fetch, tug-o-war, etc.), cuddling, walking around the neighborhood or a park. I can practice tricks or behaviors you're trying to train. I have my own transportation and am happy to take your pet to a new area to experience new smells.

- Please let me know ahead of time about any special needs or considerations your pet may have. A list of medications (if any) would be great as well, please! I hope I never need them, but numbers for their vet and closest emergency veterinary center are crucial. If you have materials for cleaning up accidents, please let me know where they are. Please let me know about what you do and don't allow regarding your pet's behavior (e.g. are they allowed on the furniture? When can they have people food, if at all? How many treats are they allowed between meals?).
