Information Robby K. would like to know about your pet

We have no breed preferences, and we love them all! Nemo may be a small breed, but he thinks he’s a big dog and can hold his own, amongst any size dog. He’s fantastic at helping new or nervous dogs get comfortable in the new environment, as well as tiring out the high energy dogs. Being married to a dog trainer, there’s no breed, size or temperament that we can’t handle.

A typical day

We do our best to mimic each dog’s daily routine schedule, as best as we can. We have found that doing so, minimizes any separation anxiety they may have.

Pet care experience

*** Please note, that while we understand the importance of them, we are still currently not offering meet and greets for everyone’s continued safety and health.*** We are so thankful we have been kept busy with our regular clients for the past two years, but are excited to have a few openings over the upcoming spring and summer! We have continued our safety precautions in place, (we use our own supplies other than dog food, we meet you outside for drop offs and pick ups, all dog personal bags stays in the garage etc). My entire life, dogs have been drawn to me. Even dogs who are usually fearful of men, gravitate towards me. I am quiet and calm, and that has been my biggest attribute when caring for dogs. I have experienced caring for all shapes and sizes of dogs, including dogs who have separation anxiety or are are fearful. I also work as a pet store DM, so you could say that dogs are my business. Because of my job, I have a lot of flexibility with my hours which enables me to be more available to my boarding clients and their pets. My wife is a dog trainer and avid dog sport competitor. She’s home full time (other than when she’s teaching lessons), so we work as a team. How many people get two experienced sitters for the price of one? Because of us working together, we are very open with our schedules. One of us is almost always home, so dogs are rarely ever left alone. We can also often accommodate last minute bookings, since there are two of us available. We are available from 9am-6pm for pick up and drop offs, and keep these hours to be respectful of our neighbors, as well as our current guests in our care. We make sure they are tired and happy before having to wind down for the night. Our home is clean, dog safe and treated monthly for fleas and ticks. The outside area for the dogs is mainly used for them to have private potty time, as we spend most of our time in the house. We take two walks per day, to the park nearby and around the neighborhood. For dogs who are more into cuddling, we are happy to spend quiet time with them. While I do work, my schedule is flexible. My wife is a dog trainer, in addition to being a stay at home mom, so the dogs get lots of attention. Our small yard is fenced with a solid 8’ tall wooden fence, and we have the ability to section off our home if a dog needs a break from the other dogs. We do our best to mimic their normal daily routine to ease the stress, that being in a new environment often causes.

Robby took great care of my puppy Scotty. It was my first time leaving him with anyone and I felt at ease knowing Scotty was in good hands.

We always feel at ease boarding our dog with Robby and his family! Our dog has separation anxiety and fear of new people and they make him feel right at home.

It was my first time using Rover so I had some uncertainty; however, Robby was very patient and “walked” me through the booking process and answered all my questions which made me comfortable using Rover and Robby. Met Robby and his wife and they were personable and professional. My yellow lab puppy, KiKi is 7 mos and ALL puppy with energy to match. They handled her excitement extremely well and once again put my mind at ease. It was a boarding reservation and they sent a text update in the morning with photos which was GREAT for me. HIGHLY Recommend Robby!!! KiKi came back excited which indicated she enjoyed her stay. I will definitely be using Rover again.
