Typically 5-6+ hours of my day are devoted to caring for my own pets. When I’m staying with a rover client my partner assumes 100% of the pet responsibility so I don’t have to run back and forth between my home and the client’s home.

I have had issues in the past with boarding other people’s pets so I no longer offer that service. When I stay with a client’s pets I spend nearly all of my time there. Sometimes I will have to go to work but currently I am working from home. I always stay the night at the client’s home unless instructed not to or if it’s a drop-in visit of course. I am more than happy to stay overnight with just cats and can provide daily care regardless if you have 1-2 cats or a multiple cat household.

PLEASE LET ME KNOW IF YOU HAVE CAMERAS IN YOUR HOUSE!! I totally understand being concerned leaving your pet in someone else’s care but I MUST know about it before I enter the home or it is an invasion of my privacy! Please tell the truth about your dog’s behavior. If your dog has any weird “quirks” such as scratching at windows or chewing couches it is really important that I know so I’m prepared to deal with it/stop it from happening. I expect to know right off the bat if your dog has any special needs, medications, dietary issues, etc. and how they behave around other dogs.
A typical day
Besides hanging out and watching tv with your pets I love to go to hiking trails with dogs either on or off leash. My own dog is great with other dogs on trails and my partner will sometimes bring him along. I try to avoid fenced in dog parks since I’ve had too many issues with them in the past.

Hi, my name is Robb and I am still relatively new to the valley! I have cared for cats and dogs my whole life including a wide variety of sizes and breeds. I’m comfortable with bully breeds, giants, high drive, etc., but I will be honest with you if I think I am not a good fit to care for your dog. I am not a trainer myself but I know how to handle bossy and dominant dogs and I know what to expect from most breeds. I am happily partnered and our animals are our children. We have a 5 year old Golden Retriever named Clayton, 3 cats, several fancy mice, and many different species of reptiles and arachnids. If you keep any of these animals and need care for them PLEASE feel free to contact me to discuss it :) I also have some experience caring for birds and chickens. Contact for more info!
