I’ve cared for animals for most of my life. Growing up, we had a variety of dog and cat breeds, so I’m comfortable working with animals of different sizes, personalities, energy levels, and temperaments. I also have law-enforcement K9 experience from my time with the Las Vegas Deputy Marshals, where I served as a K9 agitator/decoy and participated in controlled training exercises with working dogs and their handlers. That experience gave me additional insight into canine behavior, body language, handling, and the importance of remaining calm and attentive around dogs. Over the years, I’ve cared for many different types of pets and understand that every animal has its own routine and personality. Whether your dog is energetic and needs plenty of activity, prefers a slower pace, or simply wants companionship while you’re away, I’ll follow your instructions and make their routine as normal and comfortable as possible. I’m dependable, active, safety-conscious, and attentive. I’ll treat your pets like family and keep you updated so you can feel confident knowing they’re being well cared for. Our family will care for your pets as if they were our own. They will receive plenty of love, affection, and exercise in our large, fully fenced backyard

Schedule
Pet care fits easily into my routine, and I keep my Rover availability updated so I only accept bookings I can fully commit to. I’m available for walks, drop-in visits, and pet care throughout the week based on my schedule. I make every effort to maintain your pet’s normal feeding, exercise, bathroom, and medication schedule so their routine stays as consistent as possible while you’re away.

Safety, trust & environment
Safety is always my first priority. My background includes law enforcement and working with a K9 unit, which gave me experience reading canine behavior, body language, and recognizing situations before they become problems. I follow each owner’s instructions carefully, keep dogs properly leashed and secured, and never take unnecessary risks with unfamiliar animals or environments. In your home, I respect your property and your pet’s established routine. You can also expect regular updates and photos so you always know how your pet is doing.

A typical day
A typical day includes plenty of exercise, playtime, and personal attention. We have a large, fully fenced backyard where dogs can safely run, explore, play fetch, and enjoy supervised outdoor time throughout the day. We also enjoy walks around our dog-friendly neighborhood, interactive games, and plenty of attention and affection. I tailor activities to each dog's age, energy level, and personality, ensuring a fun, comfortable, and safe experience. There is also plenty of time to relax indoors as part of the family.

Please let me know about any medications, allergies, medical conditions, behavioral concerns, or anxiety triggers. It's also helpful to know how your dog interacts with children, other dogs, and new environments, as well as any escape tendencies or things that make them uncomfortable. My goal is to maintain your pet's normal routine as much as possible while providing a safe, comfortable, and enjoyable stay. The more I know about your pet, the better I can make them feel right at home.
